The man merely 'hrns' before he stands up out of his seat in the booth without taking his eyes off the applicant for even a moment. His gaze would have reminded a Rheinlander of how cold New Berlin could get in the middle of the winter season.
"Perhaps, but I am not convinced as of yet...You will get your chance, if you fail your one chance then nobody will remember you when you die as is the price for failing the Republic." he stated before reaching into his pocket and withdrawing a small badge, tossing it at the man, not caring if he caught it or not.
"This will get you to Zvezdny Gorodok, you will be tested there and tempered into a soldier of the Coalition or you will fail in a spectacular display that will make everyone wish to forget your very name."he states before giving a slight nod, leaving the booth with his 'friend' before they both vanished into the crowd that was building up for 'happy hour'.
Rolling his eyes it felt like a Deja-vu. The same lines that many of the applicants brought into these offices. A shame really, that people think the Coalition is a last resort, that the Fighter Corps would be their Savior. Most, IF they make it through the interview, will perish on JiangXi during the trials, bringing that to themselves, thinking it would be fun and games.
"Your friends were the ones who did not have friends, yet you were their friend? That means that they had a friend, so having no friends would not apply to them, would you not think? The Coalition is not a playground, the Fighter Corps certainly isn't. Impress me, as I do not think you quite realize what lays before you if you make it."
