Question about the war

I say that to the guy wondering about the indy Rheinland caps if he should make one. Do it. Use the time before the official hostilities to learn the ropes how things work in Rheinland.

The more you work and talk with RM the better. Heck, the more you talk RP in system comm the better.

And don't go chasing lone unlawful fighters or bombers in your cap (unless it's a GB) and you are welcome addition.

Rheinland does not offer too many opportunities for cap vs cap, unless you count Corsair GBs as caps, but what it does offer is (or used to offer in 4.84) a lot of combat against bombers.

But you can always stage training sessions in Braunschweig against other caps.

Anyhow, as for the fights, would be nice if we sort of had equal numbers on both sides, the problem is...judging by our count Rheinland has altogether about...4 battleships and a few cruisers, while Liberty has..let's see...*pulls a piece of paper out*..hmm, 8 battleships ( Might be more ), 3 carriers, 7 LABC's ( Might be more ), and pardon my language...a crapload of cruisers. Not to mention we have a lot of fighters and bombers as well, that's of course counting the LN caps and all that as well. Either way, unless Rheinland plans to go bomber only against us, with a lot of them...I suggest to folk that they give them some backup:P

Allright , so Liberty will take RH space within a week and then what?:DJK, yeah in any case that fights should be ballanced , otherwise... I can't see how RH can counter that numbers.... Who can give them backup? BHs are only ppl that i can think of that have as many caps as Liberty has. But RPwise they wouldn't attack Liberty Navy. So lets call it even and sign peace treaty. :lol:

OK about war, not about the military but major houses corporations, what is the right behavior if they meet each other? Thats clear they are open target in their enemies territory (at least I think that), but whats happen then if 2 convoy, example a Daumann and a DSE meet each other in Kusari Bretonia Gallia (and no police/military there) or independent systems? They shoot each other, or just pass away? Just ask because some of us try to resurrect DHC faction, and our trade routes will cross Liberty Corporations way.

i would say they pass each other, perhaps someone puts in a catch phrase a few shots exchanged but nothing like fighting to the death. let the military handle the war as they let you handle the trading and supply. i have seen some pretty nice conversation between a repex and gateway convoy. blamed each others houses for starting a war and aggressive behaviour and trying to draw the neutrals to their side of the conflict by propaganda speech. i think thats how it should be handled.

I'm sure that some idiotic indies that don't have permission for their ships will start invading the home systems for both houses.

The RNC ships are getting more and more popular, and we have the problem of the Eclipse, who was seen in Omicron Theta. Not all people put RNC infront of their names (like the Eclipse) so it's hard to know, and then you start seeing random Rheinland Cruisers in New York or Pennsylvania, going "lol we pwn, RHEINLAND OWNS!!".

Same for the LNS, Jihad Joe and the rest of the LN Admirals are doing a good job in restricting them but there are still some people who keep buying them, and then there going to be seen in New Berlin.
