Jacqueline Laval was born the daughter of Pierre Laval and Annabelle Laval, both outspoken supporters of the Gallic Council, descending from a long line of seperatists. During her youth, Jacqueline was seperated from her parents during a Council Riot as it was stamped out by the Royal Police on Marne. She later discovered that her father had been killed during the riot, and her mother taken prisoner and moved to an undisclosed prison station by the Royal Police.
From that point on, she was raised by members of the Council family, mostly friends of her mother and father. Jacqueline became a hardened seperatist over the next several years, as the council used her to deliver messages, supplies, and refugees around the Gallic Borderworlds. She proved herself a capable pilot, able to outmanuever the majority of Royal Navy and Police patrols she encountered. After coming of age, she requested position as a combatant among the Council's resistance fleet, and came to earn the callsign "Leone" - meaning Lioness - for her fierce but agile piloting style.
Jacqueline quickly rose through the ranks, becoming a squadron Capitaine (Captain) and established courier for the Council Fleet. Currently, her primary tasks include defending the Langquedoc and Orkney passage, relaying messages between The Council and other Sirius factions, and surveying Gallic Royal Navy and Police movements.
