Description

The Bristol Constructions mining vessel Pittsburgh is moving into the Laptev system for a resource survey. Bristol has requested the usual Harmony support to make sure no harm comes to the vessel. The Laptev system might contain valuable resources, or nothing at all. For the independent company the chance to make a claim on a potential resource is worth the risk of scouting the dangerous territory.

Details

The Pittsburgh will leave Bristol Depot, Bering, F5 at 14:00 UTC and move to Laptev.
Bristol Constructions is independent with strong ties to the Separatists and weak ties to Rheinland and the Unioners and DSE. The Pittsburgh is a Kaiser-class transport.

Attention! - Laptev is snub only - Fighters, Bombers, Freighters can use the jumphole
as for the Pittsburgh, I've requested some yellow support for it to get inside, it's a very big transport with only 6 guns and it won't trade. So no need to worry there.

Rules

I figured this would be a good place to explain my event-lite idea. Essentially just planning a date and time with a rather basic premise. There is no sign up or any special rules. I'll merely give you an opportunity and some suggestions. You can come by to chat, spy, fight. Nothing set in stone or preplanned. In this case, even if you destroy the Pittsburgh depending on the quality we might treat it as damaged, destroyed or just as temporarily out of action as if it were destroyed in any normal pvp fight.

Suggestions

I said I wouldn't make a sign up or would exclude anyone but a few suggestions on who could realistically come by with some inrp reason for you will follow now:
• Bristol - Escorts or further survey vessels - Sign up here: Bristol Recruitment
• Harmony/Separatists - Your assistance has been requested. Bristol flourishing supports your cause and surely you'll profit from resources found.
• Liberty criminals - Laptev is supposed to be a smuggling route. Come on smuggle or have your scout see the ship enter.
• Unioners - It connects directly to Bering and Bristol has been a trade partner so far. Help or watch or start trouble with other people.
• Rhein/Lib Corporations - I guess you could have the same reason to come to Laptev as Bristol.

Surely there's more (logical) people to turn up. These are merely my suggestions.
