Zagazig Retrofit

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Overwatch,
As you are aware relations with the 5th| Liberty Fleet has been improving over the past few months,
to such a degree even that we have performed several cooperative patrols and exchanged several
snubvessels with eachother to further improve our performance in specific situations.

This relationship has grown from cautious optimism to proper trust among brothers and sisters in arms,
the bond strengthening thanks to the shared patrols and missions.
We have come to the point where the Overwatch has approved the exchange of a capital vessel,
one of our old Osiris class vessels, the Zagazig, for a Libertonian Carrier.

In order to allow both factions to keep up appearances,
the Zagazig was selected as it is one of our older models, with significant Liberty based tech onboard.
This will allow the 5th| fleet to claim they salvaged it and filled in the missing parts with their Liberty tech.
Likewise, they will provide an Atlantis class vessel with most of the needed tech present,
leaving out only parts that we can construct ourselves.
The Order has a reputation in the Sirius sector of obtaining ships through covert ops,
that is generally used against us, in this case we might as well use it to our advantage.

The Zagazig has been docked with Fort Catharge these last few weeks, undergoing maintenance and, where needed,
retrofitting to ensure it meets all the requirements for the transfer while not looking all too 'new' either.

The Zagazig currently at Fort Catharge:


We expect the retrofitting to be complete in the next few days as its process
has been personally overseen by the Grand Admiral himself since its initial start.

Once the preparations are complete we will inform the 5th| fleet of the progress on our end and inform on their status.
Once they are sufficiently prepared we can organize the exchange and bring the Atlantis class vessel in for completion.

Zagazig Retrofit

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Overwatch,

The Zagazig retrofit has proceeded as expected and as of 16:40 Universal Sirian Time today has reached its completion.
This retrofit took quite a while to pull off, but the trade off in our temporarily reduced Shipyard capabilities due to
the occupied dock these few weeks will be more then compensated once the exchange with the 5th| Liberty fleet
is completed and our diplomatic relations improve further.

As stated in my previous report I will now prepare a communication to the 5th| fleet to update them on our status
and inquire on theirs. With a bit of luck they will have good news for us.
