Oops. You see, when I got my new computer, I simply transferred the FL directory to my new machine from the old one.
Problem is, Mod Manager can't remember that I have 4.84, and thus can't use it's backups.
Would it be possible to simply install 4.85 on top of this, since I think I remember FLMM doesn't edit files, but replaces them?

EDIT: Moved text around to increase readability.

Ouch. I would advise against it.

Try re-installing.

Rrggh. Now I'll have to find my CD, but I guessed so anyways. Thanks for the help!

You could, if you still have your old PC, move Freelancer back onto that one, uninstall the mod, and then move it back onto your new PC. I've done that a couple times myself, but I have my Freelancer file in a Rar for safe keeping.

I've a question on that???? Is there a way or a program I can use where I don't have to have the FL CD in the tray while playing the game. I'm not so Techno in the computer field, just a 'user'. Thanx

If you're playing with the Discovery mod installed, you don't need to keep the disc in, but you will need it to help with any potential reinstalls during the ongoing beta phase.

It's official, I have too few ships now...
