General information (Protected area)

The interstellar beacon, the base which became a workshop for all talented engineers who know from which end to dismantle or gather together a hyper engine for a ship. Their ranks aren't really that restrictive, they are opened for everyone who would show being a person with good hands or education above average skill in everything related to survey or faster than light flight.

They prefer having to deal with surveys and matrixes for now, and after some thinking, they decided to concentrate their efforts in their production only, but they are thinking to make a work for jump drives and docking modules if it's necessary. Once their working place would be ready with the required tools, they could offer their services in manufacturing, installing, and maintaining equipment for the ships.

Who would be providing necessary cargo deliveries for their work is another question though, perhaps clients themselves? The workshop would have prices to reflect it, having all extra cheap, as deliveries to make it would be placed on the shoulders of the ones who wish to obtain or people who would be hired by the client for the deliveries being accomplished.

For now, they were able to build working prototype hyper survey scanners and decided to offer their services for those who need it, as a time for rent payment is close and they should gather credits before there are kicked out of the place.

Serving as main vessel for survey operations, it has its uses as a ship to represent the organization in trading deals arrangement, administration delivery, or for its direct purpose to make Sirius quickly accessible by hyper travel.

- The workshop Interstellar Beacon workers received rumours about docking modules imperffections, rendering their usage often uncomfortable and dangerous to client ships.

A fiel testing

Proposed change in reality is making the docking modules capable to carry saved snub ships on your own. So if you logged out of snub/capital ship, you can still deliver it to the place of battle. As an additional option, adding the ability to dock snub into carrier bay, even if your capital vessel is not present in-game, so you could do it on your own.
