Playing with different ID and IFF

it can give several and certain advantages! i often use it, by obligation in my new home and by necessity in other. i find it useful.

of course, all this is thought out and adapted beforehand.

Usually though if your ID and IFF are too much different, is first sign of Lolwutness. I could understand if different ID and IFF used when one of them is a generic faction(BHG ID + Freelancer IFF, or Freelancer ID + BHF IFF). But two non-generic factions(like Corsair ID + Rheinland IFF)? That's a bad sign for sure.

Unless you want to play an undercover, and still a chance for people to check you out. that would make sense to me.

Oh, one more thing to keep in mind. While you can go about being a Junker with some other IFF, it is only when you have a Junker IFF (combined with proper Junker ID, equipment and ship) that you'll benefit from a mining bonus.
