Task Force Gladius

Task Force Gladius, despite being the namesake for the remnants of the Hellfire Legion, is the primary assault and tactical operations group of the Battlegroup. Comprised of seasoned warships, veteran crews, and equipped with some of the finest toys to ever grace Leniex's tables, TF Gladius hosts the flagship of the Legion's remnants, the aging warship Incursus, as well as many other veteran names within the Battlegroup's lineup.

Task Force Warhammer

Lead by the infamous Burning Fist of the Legion, Task Force Warhammer's legacy goes back years ever since the Ven'Gyr's sister ship Ravager was acquired by the Legion from the Dons of Malta. The heavy force of the Legion's remnants, Warhammer is relegated to much of the Insurgency's home guard, ensuring Vespucci and Kansas remain secure for operations on the homefront. Much of Task Force Warhammer was utilized during the Commonwealth's forced dissolution, and in a turn of unfortunate irony was the force to deal the main blow against the Ravager.

Task Force Lancer

Containing much of the Legion's captured and relic warships from the Navy, Lancer is akin to TF Gladius in that much of their operations are extraneous. TF Lancer is typically relegated to the less glory-filled missions saved for TF Gladius, but nevertheless gets its moment to shine. During the Cracking of Willard, TF Lancer undertook containment operations along the California Minor corridor, keeping guard of TF Gladius and Battlegroup Harmony's tail while the Navy's research station was sieged.

Task Force Broadsword

The personal operations group of Admiral Amy West, TF Broadsword is overseen primarily by high ranking staff of the Gladius Battlegroup. Maintaining a lethal quota of warships for fast, direct strikes at Naval holdings, Broadsword operates more like a typical Task Force than the rest of Gladius' formations. In addition to standard operations, Broadsword is also host to the Command for Gladius' Onyx Special Operations Squadron, which undertakes classified missions at the Admiral's behest.
