It is with a very heavy heart that I send this message. I recently came across the wreck of the old Vagrant Raiders cruiser VCS-Nightmare which was lost with all hands. I'll spare you the details, partially because I am still trying to come to terms with it myself...but the ship has been adrift for 7 years. During which time her crew has floated lifeless in the vacuum of space.
This crew was once my family, and they left behind families of their own. While they where a group of brash and often crazy pirates and ruffians they do not deserve to be left floating in space without a proper funeral. To that end, my request is simple. Would it be possible for the Temporary Autonomous Zoners to assist in hosting a memorial service? I do not have access to the facilities for such a service, and I do not believe the crew deserves to sit in a Morgue on Barrier Gate Station. I am willing to finance this operation as it has quite a few moving parts to include, such as retrieval of the bodies of the crew. The Natio Octavarium has graciously provided the required equipment to retrieve the crew, and I am currently looking to hire some trustworthy engineers to assist in the retrieval.

"hosting a memorial service" is very unclear and every kind of installation, even monuments for this and that are not allowed in the holy space of Baffin. that brings up a simple question - whats your intend?

Apologies if I wasn't clear. I'm not looking to establish a permanent memorial or monument for the crew, that would be a bit much. Ideally, a medium size assembly area near an airlock would be preferred. Thinking about this, and confering with current Natio Octavarium/Former Vagrant Raiders the most suitable end would be a small ceremony/vigil for the dead, followed by a spreading of the ashes in space. The last time I was able to visit Shasta there where some beautiful views of the Goddess Geode, and I can think of no better place.
If this is not possible, that is understandable (as this is a rather unique request) and I can make other arrangements.

i have light a candle for the crew of the VCS-Nightmare at brunswick shrine. regarding your request, there is no problem with a funeral and a ceremony near hodge and podge.
furthermore i think a small shiny plate with the name of the crewmembers should be attached near the biodome at shasta. if you send me a list with their names i can arrange that.
