"Roger that 4-Alpha, enjoy the ride, and welcome to New Castle."
Orion's rented Clydesdale approached the station from the port quarter giving Orion a view of the starboard side landing pod on the mysterious Battlestar. There, in strangely alien lettering, was the name "Kerberos," accompanied by an unfamiliar but distinctly military looking symbol. The view was obscured when Orion's transport passed into the landing bay, but David Helion's sense of unease was increasing nonetheless.
When he had arrived in Leeds 72 hours ago, Helion followed a gut instinct and put his Viper into storage. He also purchased some Bretonian clothing.
"Better keep a low profile on this one." He thought to himself.
It turned out his instincts were accurate.
After paying his storage fees with the valet, Helion made his way to the port side observation lounge for a closer look. Getting off of the lift on the 5th deck, he was stopped by an armed guard in the hallway.
"This area is restricted sir."
Helion's long experience in the Colonial Navy told him he was looking at a disciplined soldier. He decided to try the innocent approach.
"Hey big guy! I was just tryin to get a drink and look at the space ruins. You know they say they were here long before we we even crawled out of the ocean?"
"The bar is closed, sir. I recommend you leave now." There was no threatening tone in the soldier's voice but the Viper pilot knew it wasn't necessary. This option was closed to him.
"Well, ok then, but you just missed out on a free Newcastle Bock on me, your loss!"
Helion shambled off in his best barroom bum impression and took the lift 1 level down. On the lower level he noticed a bulk hatch marked "authorized personell only." He checked the lock, bingo.
"Now, lets see if we can get a closer look." he said to himself, and slipped out of the hall.
"Thankyou, have him meet me in my quarters, Captain you have the conn."

"Come in Lieutenant."
"Admiral."
Lietenant(JG) Helion entered the quarters of the last remaining Admiral in the Colonial Navy and snapped a salute.
"At ease, take a seat. Your last report was interesting."
"Yes sir, I knew you'd think so."
"What do you make of it?"
"The ship was at least heavily influenced by Colonial design. Without getting onboard I couldn't tell you how similar it is. But judging from the exterior, the weapon implacements and markings I believe we are dealing with an entirely seperate culture. I'm no anthropologist, but the people I saw crewing that ship did not seem to be related to the 13th tribe."
"Agreed. Have you spoken about this to the president?"
"No sir, not yet. My report on the Harris Terraforming project would have been recieved weeks ago but I thought it best to tell you about this first."
"She'll know about it soon enough. Keep this to yourself for the time being."
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is an update to our previous reports about the unidientified Battlestar. Sirus Federation Military has attempted, repeatedly to approach the ship but they have been warned off each time.
A member of a fighter wing that provided close air support to a Bretonnian Battleship in Newcastle said that he saw a name on the ship, it read K E R B E R O S. However he says the ship was moving at cruise speeds and he couldn't really get... wait a minute..
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is amazing. The ship was reported just coming out of the Tau-29 Jumpgate from Leeds and then disappeared in a flash of light. A trader near the Tau-37 Jumpgate says that a unidentified battlestar appeared out of nowhere and proceeded to dock with the Jumpgate. How this is possible, no one knows. It would appear that the Battlestar is headed either for the Omicron Alpha system, or she's heading to Freeport 10.
We'll try to track this story as much as possible, but it seems that the ship is trying to keep it's secrecy. Again, it appears that the Battlestar is heading for Omicron Alpha. All ships are warned to keep away from this battlestar until it's intentions are made clear.
