Manufactured by Southampton shipyard in 816 A.S,Destroyer Firefly is an experimental Crecy-class vessel.A pair of prototype engines have been installed on Firefly, which made it more faster and more difficult to control than other Crecy vessels.
Meanwhile, the prototype engines occupy more interior space, the shipyard had to reduce the size of weapon system. Thus,Destroyer Firefly's firepower has been decreased. That's the reason why the Firefly is known as 'a capital ship lack of firepower' in the past so many years.Still,Firefly is considered as a good scout and support vessel.
