Communication Liberty Navy 46th Fleet Urgency:Extinction level threat
Sender ID: Rear Admiral Blake Wayne Van Leer Recipient ID: Liberty Government, all liberty agencies Subject:A serious threat.
Good day,
We are facing a threat never seen before - literally hundreds of Nomad vessels have kept assaulting planet Manhattan, wave after wave, with seemingly endless reinforcements.
They arrived undetected, seemingly using some mass cloaking technology. Our own scouts have failed to detect the massive armada before it was too late and they started wiping out our people in the New York system. In the 46th Fleet's defense, our Recoil scout division is only equipped for short to mid range scouting missions, close to supply lines, and is ill equipped to detect such an advanced threat. We would appreciate if more resources could be invested into detecting the Nomad threat that seems to be at an all time high, at least openly.
If I went to dare to speculate wildly - perhaps our incursion to Omicron Nu and the supergate construction could be related somehow, and might be worth looking into. I am all for exploring and gaining resources for Liberty, but this unprecedented attack cost us many lives, and it's hard to believe hundreds of Nomad vessels and the link to the Omicrons are just a coincidence.
I am providing access to our internal report as this is nothing short of an extinction level threat. In the end, the 46th Fleet with aid of several freelancers and navy officers have repelled the hundreds of invaders. There also was an insurgent present who took down one of them before retreating. I hope you will put this information to good use. We will forever remember the brave women and men Liberty has lost today.
