Indeed, the vessel you met belongs to one of ours - our Engineering Officer, in fact, and not the Explosives Officer as she may have branded her position - and we are pleased she has managed to stoke such interest.
It must be that 'contagious Rheinlander enthusiasm' she often boasts about.
To answer your question, there are plenty of open positions at this time.
Our group focuses on the extraction and refinement of minerals, as you may already know, and the manufacture of shipbuilding materiel (and, in time, shipbuilding proper; our facilities are currently insufficient for much more than smallcraft, but we aim to rectify that in due course).
As such, miners and haulers are always in demand, and the same could be said for valiant escorts to protect our operations; however, while we are able and willing to provide the necessary tutoring to ensure the correct operation of our machinery or even basic training should this all be news to you, we will only accept an application towards security services if you are able to provide sufficient proof of your experience in the field.
The requirements for the positions are outlined above, but for a quick summary: good working credentials, a positive standing with the law enforcement of the various Houses or at least an amicable neutrality, considerable expertise in the usage of fighter craft (in the case of security services) or the completion of the basic flight courses on transport and freighter operation.
The pay is, for the time being, commensurate to the charters set by the greater IMG - you may consult those for the details, boni and exemptions.
