This is Quartermaster Ward of the Lochrath. We had the pleasure of crossing paths with one of your employees in the Magellan corridor a few cycles ago. During our link their comm-operator vaguely explained your services. After discussion with our crew you can count us as interested depending on details.

For starters I'd like to request a proper run down of your service and how it operates. I'd also like to request if there are business partners or investments from parties who would have access to your records. Once we have a clear understanding of your services we can move on to further talk. This channel will remain open for replies.

Greetings, my name is Leon, and I run the Starfliers company. Seems you spoke to my pilot Rex, he operates our small trade vessel Gullwing. Now, onto your questions about our operations since you do seem rather curious about us.

We offer two services: We call them Rift-Data Scans and Map-Data Scans.

Rift-Data Scans takes my vessel, the NX-01 into systems of your choice and I take a scan of the area. This Rift information is useful for Jump Drives, so you can accurately land into the sector I scanned for you.
  • 10,000,000 credits per rift scan, up to three
  • 7,000,000 credits per rift scan, over three
  • 80% renewal of any previous order

Map-Data Scans sends out my pilot Halpert to go chart a system for you. Maps all installations, deployments, hidden jump holes and the like and puts it all into a report for you.
  • 15,000,000 credits per system scan

When it comes to the data we collect, we keep it all tightly secured on our servers in Kepler. Once a job is complete, we send out a backdoor access code for the client to access their requested info. We take this part of our operations very seriously. If you have any other questions, I've kept this channel open.

Interesting services you have. We'll be interested in the Map-Data Scans. We can not afford one of those experimental jump drives after all.

Mainly we are interested in getting our navigation updated with the jumphole network around the Liberty-Bretonia Border Worlds. Additionally for updates on out of the way ports that don't mind what most call a warship mooring there. Not talking House-owned, more privately operated. Zoners and the like. Stuff like the famous Barrier Gate Station out in the Coronado System.

Now for locations, our eyes are on a few. California would be the top dog, and methods of getting in. Safe ports, anything. Next would be Inverness, that strange backwater system. We know about the freeport there, but might as well map that for us updated as well.

Third system is going to be an interesting one. There's this system out in the Hebrides Nebula that gets a bit dicey when looking into it. Seems to be Gallic controlled, named Roussillon. I don't much mind a detailed scan of the system, but methods there and the general atmosphere is good enough. Number of planets, stars, anything like that.

Raw navdata is fine, however I'd like to make a small request. Our crew does not often get to see the space we fly through and I would like to at least show them where we are going. When scanning these systems would it be possible to get pic-feeds of the various points? Doesn't have to be every thing you scan, just the more interesting ones. Big planets, a jumphole, a station from the outside. Those types of things. A picture is worth a thousand lines of navcode as some say.

Tell me what you think and if this is in the scope of your service. If this is agreeable set me up an invoice and we'll get down to those nitty gritty details. By the by, you the type to want payment beforehand, or after?

Our operations take us to almost every sector across Sirius. However due to the nature of our work, we have been banned from entering a handful systems. Some organisations don't want their area of space exploited. The Iverness System is one such system that is off-limits to us. Everything else in your order fits within our operational limits. To make it really simple, and as to not have any confusion with our Map-Data Scan services, we do it by system and not parts of a system. California and Roussillon are on the table. Coronado too? You did mention the Liberty-Bretonia Border Worlds... any other area you would like us to chart?

As for your request about getting visuals of the systems we chart, Halpert has a process in place to do just that. You'll find his report to have imagery of each object he comes across. Once you get the report, I'm sure you'll be satisfied. An Invoice will be written up by Halpert, and sent alongside the report. The account, and due balance will all be included. Payment will be handled at that point. If you find that this is to your liking, by all means confirm your order of systems and we'll get the job done.

That just makes us all the more curious of what's hiding out in that system. Your regulations are your own however. Likely some Bretonian black site or something.

Lets keep it to California and Roussillon for now. If the work is good we'll put in another order. Have your man Halpert send us an invoice and we'll finalize this so your boys can get to work.

Leon failed to mention that high traffic spots like trade lane intersections and Jump Gates will not be reported on. Those areas are well known to almost everyone, and I'm not going to waste my time on that. Anyways, both reports have been completed. Roussillon is the more interesting of the two. My reporting system has been improved compared to earlier versions. I have you to thank for this. The invoice is attached, and the information is a day old.

[+]Mapping: California System

Superficial scan reports the California System to be a world full of ice fields and trade lanes. A strong Libertonian presence is within the system.

  • Ontario System, Sector D3
  • Texas System, Sector G5
[+]Stations and Planets
  • Installation: Alcatraz Depot

  • Run by: Liberty Navy
  • Location: Sector D6
  • Thoughts: I've seen images of this station before... why is half of it blown to pieces?

  • Visual: Silverstone's Record
  • Run by: Freelancer
  • Location: Sector F2
  • Thoughts: Freelancer station... so far removed from the rest of the system.
[+]Modular Deployments
Picked up no installations of this kind. Very strange to see this. Maybe Liberty's laws are too strict.
[+]Wrecks and Dangers
  • Wreck: Balboa
  • Visual: Silverstone's Record
  • Location: Sector C6
  • Thoughts: Outcast vessel, close to Willard. Most likely scenario - the Navy shot this pilot down.

  • Location: South-Western Sectors
  • Thoughts: Ice asteroids within a cloud. Watch for Navy and Outcast vessels.

  • Installation: Montauban Base
  • Visual: Silverstone's Record
  • Run by: Brigands
  • Location: Sector D6
  • Thoughts: I may need to do my homework. Don't know these Brigands. They sound like trouble.

Picked up no installations of this kind.
[+]Wrecks and Dangers

  • Location: Sector E4
  • Thoughts: A Docking Ring on fire... Everyone on that planet is stuck there.
  • Wreck: Le Baulou
  • Visual: Silverstone's Record
  • Location: Sector B6
  • Thoughts: Whoever was here, they didn't last long. This station got assaulted with almost nothing left behind...
  • Wreck: Perpignan
  • Visual: Silverstone's Record
  • Location: Sector D5
  • Thoughts: I can only imagine this station looking like a small outpost, now it's reduced to this.
  • Wreck: Rodez
  • Visual: Silverstone's Record
  • Location: Sector E4
  • Thoughts: Nothing in this system survived...
[+]Fields and Nebulas
  • Field: Agout Asteroid Field
  • Location: North-Western Sectors

  • Field: Tarn Ice Field
  • Location: Eastern Sectors
  • Thoughts: Like any other ice field, save for the mines hiding around the anomaly.
  • Field: Tet Ice Asteroid Field
  • Location: South-Eastern Sectors
  • Thoughts: Sensors tell me that there might have been another moon orbiting Planet Argeles. Now it's an asteroid field.
  • Field: Ariege Nebula
  • Location: South-Western Sectors
  • Thoughts: I've blown around Bretonia enough to recognize a nebula from there. It's pretty far from home though.
[+]Miscellaneous
  • Star: Brown Dwarf
  • Visual: Silverstone's Record
  • Location: Center of System
  • Thoughts: Nothing will beat Puerto Rico's sun. Though this comes pretty close to it.

Surprisingly faster than we expected. The Captain sends his regards. We happened to have a few more donations than we anticipated so we'll pay it forward. We'll contact you again whenever we need further routes charted. Good luck out there.
