I am Olson Carrick Director of Operations Security Gateway|. Please allow me to present the history of my request. As part of our new project, we renovated and put into operation the old Bustard Civilian Carrier, named Gateway|-GSX-Shepard, in the Gateway’s executive division. To be precise, the carrier has become my personal living space and a moving base for the Security and Escort Department.

The ship has multirole functions, equipped with Jump Drive and with Survey Module. My current application concerns the armament of the ship. Knowing the compatibility of the vessel and the technology used, and at the suggestion of my engineers, I would like to apply for permission to install eight MD12a "Newton" Bretonia destroyer turrets and two MBF31 "Pom-pom" Bretonia battleship flak turrets. Given that we trade at all points on Sirius and we are threatened by several types of enemy entities we choosed "Newton" becsuse it's an allround weapon, and it's able to engage a variety of targets. "Pom-Pom" turrets are requested for compatibility and ease of installation of all Bretoninan armaments.

Esteemed Gateway representative,

The Admiralty Board has throughly discussed your proposal and after informing the staff at Portsmouth Shipyard of the required armament, we approved the project. You may proceed to moor with one of the drydocks at the installation whilst the rest of the proposal is being discussed by the government.

This matter, as said previously, now rests entirely upon the decision of the goverment. With our given approval, they will discuss this proposal as well and return with an answer within the following days.

Mr Carrick,

As the Chief of Defence Staff, Admiral Spencer, has already given his blessing, I am pleased to inform you that a review of the Defence Ministry's records shows we do indeed have 8 (eight) MD12a's and 2 (two) MBF31's awaiting fitting, and I have filed the necessary paperwork to release these to your command. Please note, as this is hardware usually employed by the Bretonian Armed Forces, it is your responsibility to ensure the safeguarding of these weapons, and should they fall into the possession of any party Bretonia deems unsuitable you may be faced with fines, and/or jail time.
