Zoner Barge saved by unlikely friends

OMEGA 48 828-12-18 - Nearly destroyed! The Zoner Barge OZC Tenerife has suffered several attacks during its valiant mission to aid the reconstruction efforts of the Gran Canaria docking infrastructure. The Barge was first set upon by the Nomads in Omicron Theta, but the real surprise was waiting when it reached the Omega 41 system. According to the Zoner Chief Engineer in charge of the mission, several ships of unidentified origin tried to run the gauntlet of the mighty Zoner armada assembled for the task. Although the Zoners are usually peaceful in nature, the presence of Nomads alerted several ships of the militant Outworlder branch of Zoners. In an unexpected turn of the events an uneasy alliance made out of Corsairs, Coalition, Auxo and several other vessels that found themselves in the sector managed to quickly dispatch the assailants.
