A disturbing event occurred involving me and the Lostshare, and given that I was genuine when suggesting we could benefit from some cooperation regarding that particular topic, it's something we may want to discuss. I don't know if you've been talking to the Lostshare about it, but I'm sure they'll have their own side to tell.

The fact that it happened on your doorstep may also be of note to you, and given the dearth of humans in my life that I could talk to about this sort of thing, I'm not seeing a great deal of options.

Regarding the artifact.

May I borrow it for a day for study? The purpose of this is to assist us, us being the Vagrants and I, in developing a shield that can resist the Sentinels ferocious attacks, or somehow disorientate their ability to trace.

That was my intention. I've reached an impassable wall with my own research, or attempts at it, anyway. Obviously I've put the thing through every scanning process known to mankind, before it activated and after, and have amassed a lengthy research document, a very dry read of mostly data readouts, which I would assume is exactly the sort of thing that tickles your fancy.
After the events that seemingly "drained" it, the item appears to be for all intents and purposes, dead. I'm not getting any readings that aren't easily dismissed as residual energy, embers of a fire that burned out.

But you're welcome to do your own analysis. I'll give it to you next time I see you.
