Now, ya got small children? Give them a wrench ang send them down to learn how to disassemble a fusion engine, next time you get your ship blasted to peaces, probably by me, if you don't shut this comm down right now, yall be glad for some help to fix them.
Go out there and mug those traders, before i contact the security unit of the station and have you kicked out through the airlock, we have enough troubles as it is.

"Sylpheed, your want of more violence only shows reliance on muscle to keep your place. Individuals such as your self lack the intelligence or willpower to live any other way, and that is why you are a blight on the whole of Sirius. If it were not for my beliefs and duty as an Oracle I would take your challenge and show you how weak you truly are. Consider yourself fortunate that we are peaceful."
Funny thing about the pirates at Buffalo is they dont see that it takes more than pirates to run the station. Theres the enviromental engineers, the janators, the bartenders, the agro-unit employees, the storekeepers, the drug dealers. Like it or not, Buffalo is a functional city. and like all cities, it has elements that allways exist in cities. Due to its nature, things like unemployment may be reduced, but there still are only so many jobs avalible in any given economy, and travel/migration is not free, and is in fact discuraged by the current political situations that Buffalo faces. The ability for people to feed themselves co-exists with the demand for labor. Unlike a conventional city, Buffalo cannont expand into the surrounding territory, and one cannot go to one city over to find work when there is none to be found in the current city. The major off-station occupations are Slaving, Pirating, and Smuggling. While these all have a large potential for profit, there also is a certian element of risk involved in each of hem, and all of them carry a hefty legal sentance if caught. The children of these off-station employees, if imprisoned or killed, are left on their own, starving or risking the slavers. We try to help out the situation by providing the bare minimum required for life to these kids: food, water and shelter. Station life isnt cheap. But that doesnt mean we cant do what we can to help out those who have suffered from a misfortune outside of thier control.
On station, Many things can go wrong too. Time and time again we have seen people killed for no reason, other than they looked at the wrong person funny. There children also need help and support, for why should the children suffer? We appreciate what Buffalo already does for these unfortunate souls, but buffalo only has soo many resources. the starving child in the corner may one day be the mechanic under your ship? Would you prefer that he remembers your acts of kindness? As the ancient phrase says, "What comes around, keeps on going." The least we could do is make sure that the right kind of actions keep our people alive, and keeps buffalo working as a functional unit, always there for those who need a refuge.
So now you work with the LPI!? That's it, boys and girls, either you stop this or i shall take the utter most liberty to throw you AND those children out the airlocks...

Silly Rouges. Whatever they are, we could always use a few...volunteers down in Weapon Engineering, especially with our supply of Hunters running low lately (yeah, really - stop blasting their escape pods. We have a better and certainly more spectacular way of disposing them, trust me). If you want to throw them out of the airlocks so badly, you can still do so after we are done with them...and when you're already at it, these pesky janitors who keep complaining about how ugly it is to clean up the test chambers, get rid of them as well. I hate that kind of people who can't stand the sight of some blood, bah.
Buffalo is no city, Buffalo is a rock, a functional space station. We don't put kids on Buffalo, it's a base on the front lines of our operations. I'm not a complete monster.
Think of it more like a military base, yes =e have the support personnel, Buffalo can't exist without them, but Buffalo has no civilians. Attica has a few civilians, wives and such, but Attica is well supplied by Zoners and Junkers and needs no donations from folks such as the LPI.
If you continue to solicit funds form folks like the LPI we'll hunt you down and kill you.
Oh and Miranda I wasn't talking about violence, sweet cheeks.
Sylpheed Out.
