History: Build by the shipwrights of Gran Canaria, the Peregrine was originally developed in response to rising hostilities in the Omegas for use outside trade convoys. It was constructed using the same multi-layered reinforced hull as the Condor gunboat, yet with a more powerful powercore and weapon system. Due to its success, the vessel found itself in high demand and was made available to the open market across Sirius.

Peregrine model number ZC-410B-2612C was bought by ship dealers on Bethlehem Station in Pennsylvania. With the rising conflicts within Pennsylvania during 829, armoured vessels were hot commodities for the rebellious types or those trying to defend themselves from said marauders. The vessel was eventually purchased with a hefty loan by a third party broker. During it's sale, it was given the name "Pawn" as a final action before being handed over to the new owners, a rather large group of Libertonian men and women who didn't identify themselves.

Said group would be the remnants of the Cruiser Seattle and LLS Monument, both vessels registered as supporting the insurgency. With the invasion of Kansas and Vespucci, the majority of both crews decided to desert, taking various shuttles out of Veracruz orbit to reconnect in Pennsylvania. The people of this group were former pilots and crew for the Liberty Navy before siding with the Harmony Battlegroup when it started its initial rebellion. Due to this connection, the various men and women grew close allowing a kinship to form. Even with the war on the brink of failure, they would remain together and strive to continue living in this sector, doing what they could to stay alive while fighting for what they believed in, a just Liberty.

This new life would be difficult however. With a need to house and feed crew while paying off the vessel's loan, the overstaffed crew of the Pawn voted to fall back on interdiction techniques to obtain cargo would could then be sold off to Liberty's black market. Such actions were a requirement for survival. The stress of living on this edge between being the criminals they once swore to rid Liberty of and fighting for a better Republic weighed on the crew. It would take much effort to keep moral up.

As the calendar changed from the seventh to the eighth month of 829, the crew of the Pawn made a chance encounter in the Sierra Ice Field. An assault battlecruiser, displaying the name Roanoke and displaying LFR affiliation, crossed paths. A brief discussion followed by the joining of a xeno ensued. The parties separated. Afterwards, the Pawn engaged in a cargo-seize operation, causing the nearby Liberty Navy to scramble. While avoiding, contact came from the Roanoke, an offer made. Skirting around the Navy and after discussion, the majority of the Pawn's crew opted to take the offer from a xeno commander. They would join the LFR and continue their fight for freedom, if only for new outcomes.

Attention: Intelligence tracking has identified this vessel as associated with enemies of the Republic of Liberty. Vessel has been flagged for capture and detainment subject to the External Threats Act updated Ed. Of 829 A.S.. Crew and occupants are not to be treated as Libertonian Citizens. Any resistance is to be met with lethal force.
