Basic history and tasks:
The Battleship Cuxhaven, currently assigned under the EinsFltl. 3, was originally constructed in 793 A.S. in the light of Rheinlands military build-up under Kanzler Niemann's reign. As one of the many different prototypes constructed by the infected Rheinland forces, each such prototype focused on overwhelming the contemporary warships of specific houses, the "Bremerhaven"-class existed only four times within the Rheinwehr and was specifically tailored to strike against "Genji"-class warships, the strongest Tokugawa variant in possession of the Kusari Naval Forces during this time period. While parts of the Cuxhaven's databank was wiped following the end of the Nomad War, partially to cover up its horrendous past, partially due to what was officially described as "malfunctions", some bits and the appearance of the name Tekagi can hint at a potential data leak by Kusarian infectees towards the infected Rheinwehr, assisting them in their efforts.
At the height of the Nomad War, the Cuxhaven just pushed successfully into New Tokyo, alongside its sister ships. A grim tribute to the infectees goal.
However, the reign of Niemann and the Nomads was not to last. The Cuxhaven, only partially subverted by Nomads, eventually surrendered and returned to Rheinland. Mothballed at the reconstruction site of Schatten, then transferred into Thüringen for modernizations and later protection of the area, the Cuxhaven and its crew were left out of major activities until 826 A.S. - Following the outbreak of the civil war in 827 A.S., the Cuxhaven received hastily made upgrades and was effectively integrated into the Verteidigungsflottille 4 of the Federal forces, providing heavy assistance against Imperial forces wandering astray into the Westerwald.
But also this conflict was not to mark the end of the Cuxhaven, left almost entirely undamaged, the vessel stood proudly until Rheinland achieved its current, rather instable peace. With the peace, came another shift for the Cuxhaven. Having been re-assigned back to its original position within the Einsatzflottille 3 of the Westfalen, Though, the old crew of the Cuxhaven is unsatisfied to serve under the command of a "fake", as the current Westfalen is no longer the symbol of a Rheinland true to itself. Furthermore, both Flottillenadmiral Schneider and Stabskapitänleutnant Jäger are known to irregularly drop hints at the belief that "Rheinland lost its balance after Kanzler Niemann". Such statements put the command staff of the Cuxhaven under surveillance by the MND and they are subject to regular checks in Thüringen, however nothing unusual except their sentiment for a strong Rheinland could be detected.
The Cuxhaven is currently tasked with rapid response activities around the southern parts of Frankfurt, though the vessel keeps having a tendency to lurk around Schatten.
