It's not about ruining the pic, it's just outside the limits. Meaning that mwerte or 'burg will make it go 'poof', should they see it, I fear.

Another thing wanna ask. I've noticed people remaking the engine trails for the renders on the forums. How do you guys do it?

For mine I used several layers of abstract brushes with varying opacities, glow effects and blending effects, then I used the smudge tool to pull them around.

I described the way I do it in here.

Mostly what Dopa said though, yeah. Though I tend to do it with one to two layers at max.
Also, an important thing is to get the perspective and twist for the engine trails right.
