The Year 745 is nearing its end and Christmas is upon us, Papa Noël will soon make children's days a little bit brighter. We here at the Gallic Navy Combined Fleet would like to wish you happy holidays.
The year 745 has been one of inner stability and prosperity. This is the year where we have reinstated the Gendarmerie. This time with fully enlisted personnel that is part of our military structure. Core system security has been at an all-time high, no major terrorist attacks have occurred this year in them. All this after losing its leader and working without his authority in the latter part of the year. Incorruptible, powerful, calm, and in control - Gallia has been safer in the hands of the fully enlisted Gendarmes.
Despite the strong stability of the inner worlds, it was not a year without its challenges. There have been many enemies threatening Gallia. The opportunistic axis of evil of Bretonia, Liberty, and Kusari with their recent Crayter Recruits that have openly attacked Brittany and seized our jump gates illegally, the new Alien threat, the Outcasts attempting to poison Lorraine or the Sirian agent controlled Maquisards. Our main military body, the Main Fleet, and our intelligence arm the Gallic Security Bureaou have been working tirelessly to keep us safe from these external threats, be it in weakening our enemies in the resource-rich Tau regions that rightfully belong to us, or gathering intelligence behind enemy lines.
Make no mistake, despite the unprecedented inner order and stability, now more than ever it will be important to give your confidence and support to your military leaders. Only Rheinland has proven itself to be a truly reliable partner. There is no doubt that foreign powers will make attempts to de-stabilize our great house in the year 746. Sirian agents have already seized control of the Maquisards and are watching, probing, they could already be near you on your planet, city, or even street.
We will prevail, Gallia will move as one, proud and united, hand in hand with us - your military protectors. The year 746 might just be the best year for our house yet, and we will achieve this in the only right way possible - together, as Gauls.
