Realizing it's exploratory and expeditionary prowess, it's was serving as the Starfliers' headquarters. Operating as a mobile research platform and observational deck for scientific discoveries, the Research Liner Sol is normally found in the distant Border Worlds where it best operates. The new owners of the Sol intend on operating the ship as it was designed, however now without the support of the Starfliers as they have departed Tau-23 to continue their goals of exploration elsewhere in the Sirius Sector.
