Kristoff, you do not need to be worried about me. I chose to stay with you, and I will!
How about you stay on the Kay with me? I will not tell anyone! We can flee, together! We can, uhm, find us some very remote spot somewhere where nobody can find us! Just you and me!
Not a chance, Levan. If I'm leaving now, they won't come after me.
My current circumstances are forcing me to be off the grid for a while. Things are roiling right now, I have to get away from Liberty this instant. I'm sorry.

I've moved to Freeport One. I met Aspen by... dumb luck. She spoke some sense into me.
I've shuffled my entire room from the Den into the Homerunner, and I'll stay out of Liberty for the foreseeable future. Probably off the grid entirely by the looks of things. Hey, maybe the people who work in the biodomes might need farmers instead of robots these days.
A farming cyborg boy. Bet you've never heard that before, huh?

My first instinct was to move straight to you. Then Madeleine got between me and the controls and told me not to do it. Chances are I would lead them directly to you.
Kristoff, I do not know how... we can handle this. Madeleine might be right. But that just means that... I will not be able to see you anymore. I doubt begging or trying to buy your safety from those people will work. If anything, I guess they would happily take my money and hunt you down regardless.
It... really shattered my world. Seeing how Cobra and these Order people are really just nothing more than... terrorists. Trying to make it sound they are doing anyone a favor, but in the end, these agents are just out for murder, and Cobra does not seem to care for the ideals of this Free Republic.
Free Republic my ass.
Madeleine told me to stay low. I guess we should both do that. You stay low where you are, and I stay low here in Liberty.
I just hope you are doing well out there, Kristoff. And that we can find a way out of this.
How... are you doing? We did not really get to talk last time, and uhm, I think there is a lot to talk about.
Uh, this is all so... weird. Have you returned to the Technomancers, in any way? When I saw you at Barrier Gate, both Levinathan and Relevant were there, too, for a short time. And Lea told me that I am now on their blacklist. And here I thought we were finally beyond that whole drama.
And yet no word from you. I am... really confused. And who is that girl that was with you, in your ship?
Look, uhm. I at least want some level of closure from all this. That damn bounty ruined what we had with another. It is so weird to think that the last time we were with another, we, uhm... still were a couple, and then you vanished, only to reappear months later, no longer hiding. And I was the last person to find out about it.
I really just want to know how you are doing and how things are right now. Uhm, at least.

Levan.
It... it is really nice to hear from you again. How have you been?
I've... erm, had a rough couple of months. As you can imagine. Look, I had to keep my head down, I had to keep my mouth shut, I had to quite literally disappear from the face of this Sector. This is not a decision I made lightly. I said this already, but Aspen talked some good damn sense into me, by helping me into considering being a live scoundrel on the run, as opposed to... whatever other alternatives there were on the table at the time.
I made a friend during my time in isolation - I think you've heard her voice already through my comms. That's Amsel, an old android model of some kind. She's around to make sure I don't die alone in a ditch. She acts as a... a bodyguard of sorts. And occasionally, she helps me with the groceries. I fix 'er up, and she shoves suspicious looking people away. It's a win-win arrangement for us both.
I eventually realized that if the Order really wanted me gone, they would've done so already months ago. I started making a few forays outside of Freeport One to test this theory. And then, outside Omega-3, and then off to Bretonia. I took it slow and steady to make sure I was right. And I was. I could finally breathe easy and take jobs like I used to before. This comes with a few caveats, like having to... appease some people, for example. The Technocrats being some of said people. Whether I like it or not, they will always keep tabs on me - it may as well be on friendly terms, at this point. I'm not expecting you to like these decisions. I only did what I thought was right for my own survival.
Forgive me for not talking to you sooner. I simply didn't have it in me to show my face around you after vanishing for so long.

Maybe take off your helmet when you respond, so I can actually see it! With your little glow-in-the-dark eye.
How I have been? Uhm, well. I guess not too bad? Life in David's Hollow is as slow as always. There are some new people at the Den, and Miss Irene's little grocery store got robbed by two drunk youngsters, who got caught by the LPI in like five minutes. And the insurance covered any damage. So, that is about as exciting as it gets. The local zoo got a baby Kasama Deer, and uhm, the people downstairs are now sometimes playing basketball at the schoolyard's field at night. Monique and I tagged along a few times, but, uhm, turns out that basketball is something that favours tall people!
I am still working out every week. My abs are really coming along nicely! Wish you could see them.
So, uhm, this android girl? Are you two, uhm, a couple? I mean, uhm, I know that there are, uhm, you know, androids that, uhm, have... uhm, those parts, and, uhm, well... So, uhm, are you? Or, uhm, is it just a work relationship? I am not judging, I am really just, uhm, curious! I mean, there are probably some things androids are better at than, uhm, humans, so, uhm, that is probably a plus. And, uhm. Yeah. So, are you?
Madeleine, Monique and I are currently, well, uhm, kind of trapped on Ames. I wanted to bring some supplies from Denver to here, and apparently the Dark Matter Storm is kind of very active right now? So, well, we are waiting it out. Quite cool to watch, though. I think the girls do not mind staying here for a few days. Madeleine found a few people here to talk with, and Monique is... Well, you know her. I think she just enjoys actually doing something with me, instead of playing house keeper at the Den.
She misses you, too, Kristoff.
Maybe we can see each other in person after the storm? I am a bit worried about your Technomancer friends wanting to kill me, but I guess Barrier Gate is still a safe place? I can come and visit you there from time to time!
Uhm, so it is christmas! I am not sure if you are celebrating it, but, uhm, in case you do: Merry christmas! And a happy new year!
We have a holographic tree on the rooftop of the building! Uhm, Monique actually wanted to get a real one but she did not like the idea of getting people to haul it all the way up there. I mean, uhm, they could have delivered it to the rooftop directly with a shuttle, I think? But this holographic one is cool, too! Very shiny. No snow yet, though, but that is obviously always like that in David's Hollow around this time of the year!
I hope you are doing well. I would love to see you again.
