I jest obviously but then again; I suppose it was this ridiculous sense of humor that did land me this job after all. I still haven't figured the ropes around this mandatory logging system but it's certainly a better option that filling up a timesheet at my old company, Genevie Industries.
Either way, as far as real time logging is considered, this is the best, I guess. The video quality sure is nice and the chair is equally comfortable which is the single most odd thing I've experienced today here at Samura.
Why are they treating me with such generosity, even going as far as to offer me this shuttle ride to the Senkaku Regional Development HQ over at the Senkaku region. Real original name for a subsidiary organization guys. The resident Managing Director clearly couldn't think of something more creative evidently.
Either way, I have no idea what's in store for me at SRD but it certainly can't be worse than my usual 9 to 9 job back at Genevie. The job description did mention that I'd be responsible to surveying the Senkaku region for potentially useful resources and points of interest. Good thing I excelled at analytics & mineral diagnostics. I do also have some knowledge in health data sciences, but I doubt that's going to do much for me out there.
We'll be departing from the space port in another hour. I will update further upon reaching SRD. Until then, this is Akane signing off.
PS, I'll probably customize this logging system on the way, no promises though
