So many many years ago I used to play on a server called Discovery USA. Meet a lot of good people there and one that I know of plays here now. There was one person who stood out to me a lot and I played with him almost every chance I get when I got home from school. His name was Buddy. This is when Skype and TeamSpeak was still used. I was just wondering if anyone else here ever played on that server and knew of what ever happened to Buddy. Thanks!

That's the tragedy of online gaming. We sometimes meet some of the best people in our lives through computer monitors. One day, past and current, will be the last time we talk or play with our friends and we will never know it. When I started playing Discovery, I went by Racerdude because that was my handle back in the early-mid 00's. The hope was to reconnect with old HA and Vanguard friends. I've met a couple, but sadly I could not convince them to join this weird community.
If I hear mention of somebody named Buddy from Discovery USA, I'll be sure to send him your way. All the best with your endeavors in reconnecting with old friends.

Hey man. After bunch of people got fed up with how DUSA was managed Danath created the "Disco USA Redemption" server where we all moved on (Buddy included). AFAIR a year and something later Buddy found other game he liked and played a lot and one day he just disappeared from Disco community, moving on to it (I think it was STO?). I believe all its well with him, he just moved on.
We have a discord server for DUSA folk still around. Poke me on PM and I'll hook you up.
