An Executive Order is a document with the same weight as a law. An Executive Order (Ordre Exécutif) is written and signed by the Board of Maréchals and does not require the approval of the Great Assembly of Gallia beforehand.
An Executive Order is to be followed by the official fleet (Gallic Navy Combined Fleet), the official representatives of the Law (Gendarmes), and Gallic Navy officers.
The Executive Orders, or E.O, also known as X.O, will be listed here, and are to be considered in force immediately after being published.
EXECUTIVE ORDER N°0001 Following this Executive Order: the system of so-called "Seigneurs" as a ruling body, is now officially disbanded, and has been replaced by the Board of Maréchals. All previous "Seigneurs" therefore lose all executive, legislative and judiciary powers. De facto, the "Seigneurs" were already powerless.
This Executive Order (Ordre Éxécutif, ou Ordonnance) is immediate.
EXECUTIVE ORDER N°0002 Following this Executive Order: "Nobility", and its members, are not "noble" anymore. All former nobles are not only considered supporters of Royalists, but are also to be followed and surveilled constantly by the Gallic National Intelligence. All assets (financial, estate, ships, and more goods are to be seized by the Gallic Navy).
It has been years, but an X.O. was never executed.
This Executive Order (Ordre Éxécutif, ou Ordonnance) is immediate.
EXECUTIVE ORDER N°0003 Following this Executive Order: The Corsair Empire and all ships affiliated with the Corsair Empire are now considered as hostile by the Gallic Union. All Naval, Gendarme and Intelligence assets are given permission to treat any "Corsairs" found in Gallia as a threat and are permitted to use full force to remove them. Any ships affiliated with the Corsair Empire will be allowed twelve hours to vacate Gallic space, but may not do so with any bulk goods on their ships.
