So I've been enjoying this great mod for quite some time, but I've run into a problem that seems insurmountable.
I was exploring the Tokohu system (the one with Tekagi's Arch) and found a jump hole. I went through it, and wound up in a greenish spiky asteroid field area. The problem is that there is nothing else there. Nothing. No jump holes to get out, no gates, no bases, nothing. No enemies, no stars, no radiation. I'm completely trapped in this empty system and can't even blow myself up to respawn at a base somewhere. What gives?
There are three jump holes in the system. The nav map is disabled in that system, so it is hard to find them. But they are there. Turn scanners to station mode, and fly in the center 9 bloxes.
1) if the nav map doesn't show anything keep the jump hole you entered by selcted.
2) or, if flying around with a partner, you enter a system that doesn't have a map one of you can stay at the jump hole you entered to mark it while the other one does the exploring.
EDIT:
3) wait until you have either a discovery scanner,
or
4) wait until you have a VHF, fully kitted out and make sure it's got a discovery scanner (you'll need the VHF in the guard system, trust me).
Ugh, I remebered the time I got in that system (Bad memory) I was stuck in it for hours and couldn't get out, until I finaly stumbled upon old nomad base from the SP campaign and then I found a jump hole. i ahd travel halfway across the system before I realised there was no nav map :shok:
Yea its not a fun place but whatever! Lead People in their as a punisment I guess.
There are two now. The hole to the green glowy thingie i posted pics about is no longer there.
As taurin said, set a waypoint on the source hole. That way you can return by going back to the waypoint.
(If you find any mistake in my English, please let me know via a PM)
(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )
they make good shortcuts to places I like to visit, try and remember where the holes are, at least the one you came through
