Kingpin will oversee the reconstruction and potential expansion of Judicator Thastus. This project is marked as high priority.
Details
Thastus survived the Battle of Magellan, making the rendezvous not long after Excalibur. Damage sustained was extensive, with the bridge destroyed and many components damaged beyond repair or outright destroyed. The ship is not space-worthy, and will require considerable effort to rebuild from the base chassis.
Being Legion technology itself, our engineers should have little trouble adapting already existing Mark V schematics. With large portions of the hull damaged, however, Thastus provides an opportunity to improve on the Mark V design.
Should the reconstruction deem it suitable, Command will further authorize prototyping for Mark VI designs.
Thastus has been placed in supplemental Drydock 3. Resource coordination for any potential Mark VI design plugins will be brought to Command if such is deemed feasible.
Equipment
Kingpin will make use of the following task forces, vessels, equipment, special personnel and access codes:
HFBC Thastus
Logistics Wing A
Security Clearance BOXCAR
Status
The current status of this project is:
IN DEVELOPMENT
This project is currently in the early phases of execution.
Kingpin has been updated from IN DEVELOPMENT to IN PROGRESS following connection with supply sources via the Tau Corridor. In addition, following reconstruction's analysis of the ship, command has approved Thastus to prototype the Mark VI design. This project as such will now require CLASS B or higher clearance, or clearance from individuals with such clearance. All personnel previously assigned to this project have been grandfathered in.
Analysis
A more detailed overview of the ship reveals that work will need to be done from the ground up, based largely from the remaining superstructure. Damage to the bridge is almost total, alongside engine capacity in both of the centrifugal arms. Targeting arrays and sensor grids are gone, and numerous spots along the hull show panels blown out entirely.
New material will be needed to begin reconstruction.
Manifest
The following list has been approved for delivery by logistics personnel assigned to this project. Note that some items listed may not be feasible to acquire with Remnant access codes. As such, command is approving any means needed to acquire the needed materials, including sub-contracting, in-space acquisition, or tier one diplomacy.
All materials should be delivered to Barrier Gate Station.

Been a fat minute since I've taken a look at this one. Sense of dread the founder ship gives me when I see it moored outside El Alto. I don't get those easy, either. Spooky.
Thastus came in not long after the Excal', though with only a few hands left aboard; It was mostly the on-board AI dragging the ship into dock. Bridge was destroyed, heavy damage to the surrounding area, captain and all his bridge staff killed on impact. Fucking wild shit. Gonna mount their names to the hull when we fix it, though. Honor that sacrifice.
Ship has pretty good potential all things considered. Been speculating about an update to the Mark V's, which turned out to be an amazing run just by themselves. Class today wouldn't pass the benchmark for a battlecruiser, so likely going to see a more flexible design go through. I'm for sure going to look at updating the ship's base design.
Damage-wise, bridge is a total mess. Going to need a full rebuild. Engines took a beating, as did the rotational centrifuge powering the ship's shields. Internals that didn't take much damage held up against the years alright, though the power cycling kept beating the electrical systems to no end.
If I'm going to work on a full upgrade, I'm gonna need to do a marginal gutting. Non-generic electronics, weapons, shields, afterburners, power; All of it. This one's probably going to eat up my time like Incursus, but this one at least I don't feel too bad if I fall behind on to get other things working first. Hoping that she'll be done by the time more of her kind start rolling in.
West, out.
