From what I've gathered from other people, the reason the PSU fan was cranking was that the processor was working extra hard to compensate for the graphics card.
Thanks for the CD drive tip, I had no idea!:lol:

I tried using the pinhole in the front of my DVD drive and something went CLUNK and the button inside disappeared into the drive, but I fixed it by poking the IDE Ribbon.
