The campaign is incompatible with the current version, you could try 4.84 but be warned its bloody hard.

If you want to play the campaign you are better off playing it unmoded.

Just use vanilla... Don't use Discovery. It is impossible with Discovery.

Indeed, there was a mission where you are running from liberty or something, there is a huge BS shooting at you before you can even get out of the docking ring. By the time the computer lets you take control, your ship is in flames. You cannot use any big ships either since there are planets that you cannot dock on since they dont have the mooring fixture.

You mean the escape from manhattan mission, were theres a liberty cruiser that has a chance of being in position to rape you upon spawn. That one is semi random, if it is in position itll rape you, but if not angled right you have a chance.
