Salutations, my name is Leo Morningstar, I'm the Chief Engineer for the Starlight Research Consortium (SLRC). We've recently made a return trip from deep space utilizing one of our experimental Liners, the Intrepid, and not long after we crossed into Sirius space, we had an accident onboard and the power core overloaded. Since I was able to bring it back online, it appears to no longer be able to reach more than 10% of it's maximum.
We purchased this particular liner over three years ago barebones from the shipyards in Shikoku. It was intended for another client, however the client in question cancelled their order and we were able to purchase the ship in their stead. Regardless of the state of the vessel upon purchase, much of it's power systems were already installed when we picked up the ship. We've been careful not to exceed it's maximum tolerances with our modifications and additions, however it would seem that regardless of our regular drydock maintenance schedules, the power core simply gave out.
We're hoping to bring the ship in for repairs at your shipyards in Shikoku where the vessel was purchased. However, we are amenable to flying the ship elsewhere per your instruction.
We look forward to working together once again.

Konnichiwa Leo Morningstar,
It is a pleasure to see SLRC continuing to make great use out of their investment in Renzu's quality Liner products!
This issue with the power systems is disturbing to hear, but accidents happen (I'll forgo the usual insurance sales pitch at this time, despite my urge to do so!) and at least you were able to get minimal system power online for your return trip.
We would, of course, love to see your ship's systems recovered back to full operational abilities, not only for your full enjoyment of the purchase but, honestly, it's not a good look for the Renzu corporation to have high end liner craft just 'limping around' on bare minimum reserve power!
I've taken the liberty of informing the Tsukishima Liner Yards in Shikoku as to your plight and they will be expecting your craft for a full maintenance systems check and power core repairs.
Expect the facility to charge you some hourly maintenance on this one. That is, unless the logs show this 'accident' was purely a manufacturing defect in the core, and not a side-effect of the modifications made for your group's devices, nor from exposure to elements in space outside of the typical trade lanes systems.
Thank you for reaching out to us today and allowing us the opportunity to lend a hand!
Sayonara,
Yaeko Murase

Greetings, Yaeko Murase.
Thank you for reaching out to the shipyards in our stead. We were able to limp the Intrepid from Tau-23 to the shipyards without much difficulty despite the powercore being unable to sustain any shielding, weapons, or anything else except minimal engines and life-support. She is currently moored in Drydock B as requested by the station technicians.
I am remaining here for any technical questions pertaining to additions and modifications we have completed over the years for our purposes. Those onboard Tsukishima have requested that any fees or complications that arise go through yourself as our representative moving forward to include any fees that are required for repairs.
Thank you again.

Greetings, Yaeko Murase.
Reaching out to follow up. The technicians aren't letting me get involved in the troubleshooting except to inquire about modifications done to the ship proper. They haven't told me anything about any discoveries they have made and I was hoping that they had spoken to you. Do you have an update for me?
Thank you.

Due to a change in our project tempo as well as communication from the engineers at the shipyards and Interspace Commerce, we have decided to instead sell the vessel to another enterprising group that can utilize the vessel for it's original purpose. Our equipment has already been stripped from the vessel and is on it's way back to our headquarters for the change in our project.
Thank you anyway for the assistance.
