Good day Guildmasters!
I hope this message finds you well in the wake of that kerfuffle over in Omega-3. You see, I am reaching out to you today looking for assistance in modernizing some Junker Assets. As is well know, the Junker Salvage Frigate is the pinnacle of salvage vessels in use by Junker families. However I am seeing a rather annoyingly common trend. many salvagers make use of mechanical arms in order to perform their salvaging tasks. Now, Salvagers are not "built" in the traditional sense as the hallmarks of the most successful clans within the greater Junker community the Salvagers, while built upon the same basic core philosophy, grow to be as varied as the families that crew them with each passing generation. As a result you may see arms from any number of ships on these vessels ranging from CUV-39M "Mender" Repair Ship to the venerable Edison AM-333 "Hegemon" Civilian Asteroid Miner. Some older family designs might even use arms seen on TTR-1130 Series Pilgrim Liners. Now here is the problem, the arms and cutting tools on these things are, I concede, barely worth the metal it's made of. Unfortunately, Daumann Heavy Construction is notoriously secretive about their tools used in mining operations as they are the premier Diamond producers in Sirius. Now, we are not interested in diamond mining but if the tools are good enough to cut through diamonds and operate under the immensely hostile environment that is Omega-11'sVon Rohe Belt then it can operate in even the most treacherous of scrap fields in Sirius.
Now, all that aside, why am I contacting you? IMG's history with DHC, you've often found yourselves competing with them through out the Omegas. While I have never personally see your captains extracting some how I doubt some of your captains would be against your former management. I am looking to purchase one of your IMG-M2C "Annapurna" Mining Ships. I would like to run some experiments with its cutting tools and see if it is better to an extent that it is would be financially worth it to purchase the cutting tools from you or just continue utilizing the ramshackle ones we have. Not that I have any doubt in the quality of your tools, just not sure if its worth the investment.
Let me know if this is something we'd be able to do?
The Guild sees no possible problem in selling our Annapurnas to your people unlike our competitors who for some reason won't. As for the payment the standard twenty thousand plus ten thousand licensing fee. The mining surpluses equipment you mentioned are priced at five thousand credits. But if our competitors should start having trouble extracting the diamonds in the treacherous system of Omega-11 a quantity of our ships and a substantial amount of mining equipment will find themselves in your property.
With regards
Albert Schulze, Guildmaster
