I hope the stars have kept you well since last we spoke proper.
There is something on my mind that I wished to speak to you about. We've spoken about it in passing, but it's been living in my mind rent free ever since. I think we should establish a militia based in the Omicrons.
We found purpose and companionship defending those of Freeport Eleven from the alien attacks, and I've seen how much you care for people who are innocent of all save wanting to survive and live their lives in peace. With all we have come to learn: the brazen attacks on the Freeport... how easily the alien took Delta, even just for a cycle... the threat the Sentinels may pose if the worst comes to pass... I think we have a responsbility to do something.
To be there for those that can't defend themselves against hostility, and promote diplomacy wherever we can. Try to bring people together in times of crisis. Attempt to help them see beyond the scars of the past. Guide and nurture their thinking to evolve the concept of a common humanity. Something I fear will be necessary in times approaching.
What do you think? Do you agree? Will you join me in this? I haven't got the same military experience or diplomatic flair that you have, but I think between the two of us we could really make a difference.
things have been set in motion which we are part in. We have to be prepared for what is about to come. Whatever that will be.
Words will be spoken but sometimes weapons are needed to protect those who cannot speak for themselves.
The events around the freeport brought similar thoughts to my mind. The latest happenings in Delta call for action. Let us answer this call!
Freeport Eleven will be a sign of safety. A haven for those seeking refuge regardless their origin.
