This comm is going out assuming that another unfortunate command change hasn't been made. However, given Hewitt's testimony I'm hoping you kept to the Freeport, especially considering the state of the Juneau when you arrived.

I'm sure you remember who I am, given Eclipse and I were practically the ones calling the shots after Budget Bitch fled the scene. From what I hear, a lot of the people that went out on that op never made it past Magellan, for which you have my condolences at least. Still, hearing the Juneau showed up on our doorstep was probably the last thing I expected to hear, and hearing some of the original crew were still around was even more unexpected. Quite welcome, but unexpected nonetheless.

To that end, I'd like to know where you and your crew stand. I know the ol' Star Captain gave the run down on where the movement is at the moment, and capable people are in relatively short supply. On top of the Juneau just being space-worthy, I'd be very interested in knowing exactly how many of your originals are still left. Since you've yet to make contact, I figure there's no harm in extending the handshake myself, as a known face amongst the old.

Greetings,

As you can no doubt tell by how long this communique has been silent and lost, Lieutenant Smith is gone. She succumbed to injuries sustained during combat with one of Liberty's new advanced battlecruisers after a critical hit to the bridge. This was before I managed to find the Juneau once again while in dry dock undergoing lengthy repairs. I've brought a few old souls onboard to supplement casualties, but there's less than 30 of our veterans onboard. Primarily Insurgents, about 7 of us, including me, Separatists.

These setbacks aside, our crew is primarily made of Navy drop outs, low rank turncoats and ex-cons seeking retribution. We're a functional warship, but a dysfunctional crew. I've managed to bring some form of uneasy order to this ship and begin giving guidance, but it's not easy onboard, especially without clear direction and goals. Keeping a cruiser afloat with only it's own resources it can loot is a lot harder than the Rogues make it look.

Sometime I'll get this camera fixed, but right now it's still busted. Doubt you'll recognize my face though.

Damn, it's been a fat minute for this one, huh. Truth be told, I'd almost given up any expectation of a response on this channel, but I'm glad I didn't.

A shame about Smith, but she at least went down fighting. A lot better than some of the others I've heard about over the past few years. We've taken on some of those things the Navy is fielding now; Formidable is definitely a word for 'em, and put the ol' girl in her place a couple times even, but I know overengineering and this is a textbook example. Just need coordination.

If you're still putting in the effort to keep the dream alive, then I can definitely offer a port in the proverbial storm. Some of the gang might throw a nose up given what happened with Knight, but they weren't in the dirt like we were, and I'd be spitting on Thastus' grave if I didn't offer my guys' expertise in keeping the Juneau floating. Like minds, right?

I can also offer more than just a port; Got a good handful of Seps still floating around, with some trickling in every now and then with the usual inflow. With and the machine might have concerns, but without Knight holding you back I've seen you lot are capable of damn near anything. 'bout as Legion as you get without actually being Legion. If the gang aboard sees reason in it, got plenty of room alongside.
