I received a message about Robotics being needed by the Conclave on Crete itself. I must admit, I did not expect that, but then again, I am not one to ask questions. I'd rather do what needs to be done instead. Hence, I've attached the delivery report of 2.000 units of Robotics being delivered to Crete.
First of all, I wanted to thank you for organizing the relocation of my crew and myself to Crete. The facilities you have here on Crete are truly impressive and are no comparison to our possibilities on Reincarnation. As a consequence, our project could be executed as planned and I am pleased to report that our efforts have finally paid off.
After days and weeks of working long nights, our dedicated engineers have finalized a first prototype of the iridium mining array. It is currently under final safety inspection and is expected to be ready to be mounted on one of our Correo-class freighters tomorrow. Please indicate the vessel, on which it should be installed and my crew will take care of it and update all related software to operate the novel mining array. In the meantime, we are working on adjusting the prototype to be suitable for use on a larger Hegemon asteroid miner as well. I am sure this will come in handy for future large mining operations in Omicron Delta…
Me and my entire crew are looking forward to see if the array works as intended – being able to emit the original enhanced beam spectrum for improved iridium extraction, while being compatible with our ship technology. I am awaiting your reply and report of the pilot testing the array. Ravenna Vult!

Senor Barkas,
Your work has been closely scrutinized at all stages, meaning that we are quite aware of your long hours. The Correo vessel DTR-El_Minero is already located in the hangar space Sigma Sesenta y Nueve next to your facility. It has also the experienced test pilot on standby. You will perhaps give him some hours notice before flight, since he is very fond of the Rum.
Mission accomplished, I just made it back from Omicron Delta – luckily in one piece: it’s truly full of Nomads and most likely infected ones out there in the cloud. Our evasion trainings really paid off there…
Anyways… I had the chance to test out that new mining array those ingenieros mounted on the Correo and have to say I am amazed how much faster the Iridium ore extraction can be done now! Muy bien trabajo, amigos! I probably did not quite collect enough data for a reliable and precise determination of the increase in efficiency, but I assume it must be at least twice as fast compared to what we were doing before.
Discúlpame, por favor; now I have to go and deliver those data to our brilliant engineering team for them to analyse and do whatever they do with it…not my business as long as they give me the creditos I was promised! My bills in the bar keep accumulating and barkeeper Jose will be happy to hear that I can finally pay for my rum.
Your collected data has been highly useful for our mining array development and indicate all modifications compared to our existing technology actually worked as intended in the field. What a relief!
The adapted version for a Hegemon asteroid miner has also been mounted on one of the vessels. As soon as you or one of your fellow test pilots is sober enough and ready, I need you to go and test it similar to the Correo.
This is Test pilot #107 reporting back from the Hegemon mining array test mission. Test pilot #069 informed me about your open task yesterday in the bar. He seemed, let’s say not really able to fly out himself today, so I accepted the mission from the job board and flew out myself.
From my limited experience with Iridium mining, I reckon it is quite efficient with the new technology compared to my previous experiences and reports I heard from other pilots. I added some details on the mining speed in my report below. That should be sufficient for you to extrapolate the mining rate and compare it to what we achieved before. I am looking forward to see this new technology mounted on all our mining fleets, that would finally be some real progress!
/// FINAL REPORT ON IRIDIUM MINING ARRAY AND REFINEMENT ///
Honorable Conclave,
My engineering team and me have finished analyzing all data acquired in the field test of the optimized mining array prototypes executed by our brave test pilots #069 and #107. We now have a sufficient basis to be certain that our adapted mining array is capable of extracting Iridium ore three times faster than with our original technology, while being compatible with our ship mounts. That could be confirmed using both the Correo freighter as well as our Hegemon large asteroid mining vessel.
In addition, our colleagues at Reincarnation Outpost were able to make some progress with the refinement process thanks to the assistance of our experts from Fort Torrelavega. They reported a 10% increase in their refining efficiency compared to our previous, non-optimized protocol. In conclusion, the entire process, even though it was a long and rocky road, was a full success! The optimized mining arrays are ready to be mass produced and fitted on all mining vessels of the Imperio that require such improved technology.
Muchas gracias for your report and service to the Imperio! The contributions of you and your team will certainly serve The Deterrence and our Imperio excellente and allow us to expand our business operations even further.
Your payment should reflect our appreciation and I trust you to share your benefits with your colleagues as you deem appropriate. In addition, you and your fellow crew may enjoy free rum and food on all bars in Creta and Ionia for the rest of your lives.
