Background:

On the backwater world of Erie in the system of Pennsylvania, a few failed business owners, unemployed trade ship captains, and many laborers have decided to take chances and form a collaboration as a group effort to solve some issues. Some of these involve poor working conditions, poor pay, and many accidents that go unnoticed and sometimes unresolved. With these continuing to be a problem within the system of Pennsylvania, the executives of M.D.C came to conclusion that it was time to unite as a single work force and depart to space. This effort of collaboration is for the cause of each individual wishing to go beyond the restraints of being planet locked, and moving on towards possible success of reaching their goals of finding work beyond their former home.

For the first few weeks they were without ample funding, and their corporate leadership was on the highway towards collapse. This was the case until an independent figure sought out their executives who are known as "The Builders" and bought over half the shares of the company. Since then, all corporate management reside on planet Erie dealing with in and out going transmissions, while the new replacement of the top executives sends out convoys of miners, freighters, transports, and fighter pilots.

Now with some refurbished ships and gear to boot, individual captains can now run their ships looking for work. Some are in command of miner ships and trade ships, others have a risky appetite of action and adventure. Taking the odd jobs of escort duty, delivery runs, and mining work, these freelancers are fitted out with all means possible for just about any type of work.

Faction Goals:

The eventual goals of the M.D.C are to maximize profits within all possible ore regions, trade routes, and interesting jobs for the hired gun. New goals will be put into plan as previous goals are reached.

As multiple starship captains leave Erie, the endless expanse of space and its possibilities are what await them.
