Tenets of the Arm


First Tenet|



Those within the Arm will acknowledge and obey the following Tenets. Failure to do so can result in dire and swift consequences.



Second Tenet|


First loyalties are to the Arm, second loyalties are to the Core, and third loyalties or more do not exist.



Third Tenet|



Actions performed are to be performed without hesitation, without second thought, for the Arm can do no wrong.


Fourth Tenet|



Orders given are to be followed to the letter, loyalties are to be unquestioned, unbroken, and unwavering.



Fifth Tenet|



Death is inevitable, but it is advisable to assist members of the Arm and their allies in battle.



Sixth Tenet|



Selfish actions are frowned upon, as they are actions only beneficial to a single person, rather than the entirety of the Arm.



Seventh Tenet|



All discovered forms of alien technology are to be reported immediately to an appropriate officer of the proper office.



Eighth Tenet|


All discovered forms of new science are to be shared with all in the Arm. None shall collect advancements for themselves for self-benefit unless it benefits the Arm as a whole.




Ninth Tenet|



Self evolution through the merging of technology to the human individual will be expected.



Tenth Tenet|



Those wishing to join the ranks of the Arm must take the "Oath of Ascension."




Exordium: Founding of the Arm






During the Arm's final initiations to form, several independent groups from the second fleet were carefully handpicked for an important meeting on the planet Nauru. These groups consisted of science divisions, manufacturing and trade corporates, and armed battlegroups with multiple craft. Deep in the open desert, several temporary tents were set up for the gathering. The conditions were miserable, personnel wearing oxygen respirators setting up tents and banners, in scorching heat from the noon sun. In low orbit above, was a Mako classed battleship sending down dropships for the awaited members of the meeting followed by fighter escorts.

As each dropship arrived, everyone on board one was directed to the largest of the tents in the center of the area. Hundreds of rows of chairs, benches, and whatever else was brought was slowly filled in as individuals took their seats. Other dropships were sent as well, filled with emergency supplies, sensor arrays, and communication equipment just in case of an emergency. In front and across of all the rows of seated individuals, there was a small podium labeled with a banner of red and silver. At the podium were three standing individuals, and behind them roughly half a dozen others, all dressed and decorated as high-ranking officers.

The three individuals stepped forward and identified themselves as "Red Admirals." The officer's claimed that they have gathered everyone here to show that they proposed a new division for the Core. They explained that they made a new way of organizing the Core into a stronger force. However, fine details were left out of the explanation of how the new division would organize themselves and fill any major role within the Core. This made some of the crowd unconvinced of the Arm's capabilities, but the Admirals didn't want to give away sensitive information to those not wishing to give up their independent commands, and join forces with the Arm. The majority of the meeting lasted about four hours, as discussions were talked back and forth of the current situation of the Core, it's capabilities, goals, and their people. The self-acclaimed "Red Admirals" replied to lots of questions, with assuring answers that duties, plans, and actions will go from stagnate, to dynamic and rewarding within the Core.

One piece of information about the Arm that they did reveal however, was something the Admirals called "Tenets." Their reasoning was, if everyone could follow the same rules, then everyone could be on the same page. Everyone on the same page, will perform their actions as a whole unit, rather than several units split off from any form of central command. The rules were organized in a way for the sake of efficiency as a whole, as the Arm is organized as one unit instead of many. The Admirals believed that with the power of what they called "Unity" and "Superiority" and some other fancy words, that they could lay the pathway to have the Arm become a dominant force.

As the meeting ended, a major communication was sent to multiple ships, stations, and beacons belonging to the Core. The message was the news of the confirmation of a new division for Core, and that they had opened recruiting offices throughout both Durban and Capetown.







Midpoint: Agenda, Diplomacy, and Technology of the Arm






The Arm have several goals in mind. Their main goal, however, involves both controlling and researching unknown sciences and all areas of deep space. Some space they wish to extort was thought to be inaccessible to humanity for years. They hold their agenda high, and frown upon anything below. Part of their agenda is to hold the Tenets dear as well as their fierce belief that they are superior in all forms compared to any other organization.

They see other hostile and nonbelonging factions as "Inferior beings" and "Wastes of life" due to their existence being a disruption to the plans of the Arm amongst other reasons. The Arm stubbornly believe that they are the only ones who truly have birthrights to the Edge worlds above all others. They rarely cooperate with others, as they see most different factions as unfit to research, harvest, or dominate what they truly believe is rightfully theirs above all else. Anyone who says otherwise are often left in a fiery ruin in their wake, for criticism isn't taken kindly. The exact nature of the Arm is unknown to outsiders, but they are repeatedly hostile to unwelcome visitors, and highly suspicious of anyone who don't reside within the Core.

Members of the Core's secondary fleet and other groups, however, see members of the Arm as "Selfish and reclusive." The Arm also do not share the same bravado titles such as "Defenders of humanity" and the like. Their actions they commit are often inhumane and outright wrong, for the average soldier within the Arm has no sympathy and follows exact orders no matter the cost. Ships that burn, continue to be shot at. Transports with exotic goods, are often shot at and pillaged. All ships not registering an IFF as "Core" are interrogated and are either escorted out or destroyed. With brutally efficient ways of management, tactics, and prowess, the Arm tend to reach their goals by whatever means necessary.

Multiple factions surround the native areas, some friendly, many more hostile. Nomads, Vagrants, Wild, Order, Corsairs, Artificial Intelligence, Red Hessians, and Coalition forces have grown to be a problem within local space. The Arm continues to see them as enemies while having little patience for any negotiations, most encounters tend to end up in a heated battle. Less hostile factions are rarely spotted and tend to be far less hostile, sometimes they are outright helpful. There are rumors of collaboration from both the Zoners and the Outcasts fighting alongside with forces of the Core. The Arm however seldom trust outsiders of any kind, and all shall be closely watched. Allies come far and few, and the Arm can only trust their own along with independent Core commands.







Technological Database




Members of the Arm are very secretive about their technology and its origins. They mostly refuse to fly any ship that isn't of AP manufacturing design, as they believe anything not to be from the Core as "inferior" and worthless to them in their advancement for technological superiority. Captains and pilots both have multiple choices ranging from small fighters to large battleships. * Disclaimer: The follow tech chart only displays Core technology, but it is possible to fly civilian and border world fighters, freighters, transports, and gunboats.

AP-239 "Sturgeon" - Gunship

Technical Specifications
The aging Bottlenose has continued to be in demand as an effective anti-fighter platform, leading to the commissioning of a revision by the Core. The Sturgeon hews close to the original design, but with modernized components, reinforced mounts, and enhanced life support systems that let the ship truly shine in its defensive role.

The Sturgeon servers as the main tool to dislodge the smaller fighter wings that can cause issues to the expenditures of the ARM. It holds the main responsibility for clearing the way for the main fleets and to clear any remaining stragglers after the main fleet sweeps in and clears everything.








AP-385 "Pleco" Core Gunboat

Technical Specifications
The Orca, already an effective vessel, has seen new life on the frontier with the new Pleco revision. Flexible but commercial-grade scanners were replaced with specialized military-spec sensors keyed to the Walker Nebula and unique hazards of the Omicrons, and legally-mandated limiters on the inter-House model were removed to truly let this ship loose against its enemies.

The purpose for the gunships of the ARM, was always seen as the guardian of the larger vessels from smaller threats and to ensure a safe path ahead for the the main fleets. It also serves a purpose to take care of the mercantile assets and to patrol around the fixed installations of the ARM.



AP-430 "Thresher" Core Destroyer

Technical Specifications
When the Core started to operate in Nomad space, they encountered unexpected hardships - even the most advanced Hammerheads were unable to survive in hostile environment. Because of the enormous potential profits, they invested into developing a new Destroyer-class ship that was later prototyped at Liberty military shipyards. With their new destroyers, the Core felt much more confident among their Nomad, Corsair and Order enemies, being able to hunt Nomads and even fulfil bounty contracts against the Corsairs in the most remote parts of known space. These destroyers are now constructed by the Core at a secure facility in the Omicrons.

The lightest asset of the ARM capital class vessels, the "Thresher" serves as the fast reconnaissance and small strike force. It's main purpose for the "Thresher" is to go into in cause chaos and go out, making even the most organized structures lose control of the fight.




AP-540 "Bullhead" Core Battlecruiser

Technical Specifications
An advanced and heavily-reinforced variant of the Core Destroyer, the Bullhead is used for major combat deployments that involve countering enemy capital ships. This ship's hull can withstand the fire of heavy battleship weaponry, and an advanced energy supply provides for impressive firepower. However, due to its reduced maneuverability, the Battlecruiser can be vulnerable to enemy bombers, and so it rarely takes to the battlefield without its own fighter escort.

Currently serving as the main military asset of ARM, the Bullhead will be the spear tip for all military movements and for all young aspiring lower class admirals. Also used as the main a mobile assets for mission that require our presence outside the Omicrons or for quick guerilla warfare on our main enemies, having the major capability to dish out considerable amounts of damage to heavier assets and move in and out at lighting speeds.



AP-609 "Mako" - Battleship

Technical Specifications
The construction of the first Core Battleship became a symbol of the faction's rising influence. Originally just a loose association of bounty hunters bold enough to tackle contracts in the Omicrons, the Core grew into a rich and powerful private military faction. The new Core Battleships are intended to operate in remote Edge Worlds systems, defending station construction sites and spearheading assaults into uncharted deep space.

Used as the flagship of the ARM, the Mako currently holds as the mobile office, main firepower behemoth and the mobile research stations. The battleships deployed by ARM are first and foremost seen as the homes of the three red admirals along special individuals who have proven themselves dedicated to our creed above anything else.







Divisions of ARM

Like any functional ARM, we need our fingers in order to grab what we want and to take the very life away from our foes.

Military Division: The military is the main tool of the ARM to execute it's wishes. The military serves as the vanguard of all activities done by us and has been as long as can remember the main tool of terror or grace that the Core has deployed whenever and where ever it was needed. The Military division takes advantage from all the exploits of the R&D Division and takes the majority of the funding. Their activates range from direct combat towards the Order and the Nomads, to reconnaissance missions to guerilla warfare as far as we have set our interests. The military wing finds itself under the direct command of Duke Silverton, one of the three red Admirals, known for his military prowess and tactics.

Research and Development Division: The secondary interest of ARM, however seen as the brain of the whole movement. Known for the nomad experimenting and technological bodily modifications. The R&D has been known to conduct other more hidden and less orthodox then the average known and advertised for the larger public, but those experiments are the real breakthroughs that allow them create the military and general technological advancements. The head of the R&D Division is lead by the ruthless and questionably sane, but brilliant minded Corielanus Adam Warren.

Mercantile Division: The real back bone of the ARM, the mercantile divisions makes sure that we get all the necessaire and we give our allies what they desire. For the mercantile division making money is the main goal as they supply the war machine and technological advancements. The pilots do not present major interests in the combat aspects, but they are heavily trained and they can defend themselves just the same as any military pilot of the ARM, as the military and the mercantile have joint training programs in order to make sure that they can keep themselves and their crews, while they meet the deadlines, giving and providing our most desirable services and keep afloat the main organization.

They are the master minds behind the whole ARM. They are a triumvirate however each serving special needs of the fleets. This position can only be gotten when one of the existing Red Admirals dies or has been deemed unfit for duty by the whole entire fleet. They are the absolute command and they serve as the tip of the spear in times of war and distress, however they do generally conduct their personal business and leave the daily tasks to the lower brass .
