Mining Station Badrulchau is the headquarters of a team of water prospectors formerly operating out of Freeport 11. The facilities on board are dedicated to the extraction and purification of the water in the Palau Cloud.
Most of the water is shipped straight to Freeport 11 for sale there, though the APM operation on Nauru has recently been receiving deliveries of water.
The disposition of the detritus polluting the cloud’s skies was left to the Overseer of Servitors, who immediately ordered its movement towards the Servitor Hub for repurposing towards more enlightened goals.
The loss of the craft requisitioned from the thralls stung; they had only been caught as they were attempting to use the star’s gravity well to help propel them to the Tokelau Cloud proper and save on fuel expenditures. The station is now entering an advanced state of triage, as valuable hardware is loaded up and moved by whatever the Complex can spare.
The storage space freed up when most of the water processing equipment was evacuated has proven an unexpected boon to the post-combat asset recovery efforts. The Overseer of Servitors wasted no time dispatching some of its combat-capable thralls to partake in this generous bounty.
Larger Nomad warforms have been sighted congregating around the wreckage of the mining station Badrulchau. There is no sign of the water prospectors. What the Nomads want with water purification hardware is a mystery, perhaps merely denying it to anyone else is sufficient. Unlike the Tinsdal wreckage deeper in the system, whose contents are as of yet unknown and likely very valuable, the Badrulchau Wreck has been put on the back burner for now, until more critical matters have been resolved.
