Define "worth" first, then you can answer your question yourself without ranting. What did you expect, people pleading with you to stay? Play a bit, and if you do not like, move on. That's exactly what I did. I played here for some time, and I got bored and quit. I returned recently and flew a bit, checked mechanics, read RP, checked out RP in-game, decided it was not worth it and moved on. No need to make a drama and rant out of it. Save your own and others' time.

This game is a mindset. A determined will to do what you enjoy, either with the help and support of others or without.

There are days that this will dies, and there are days this will burns brighter than any star.

I guess your will fizzled out long ago, and you're just hoping for something to pull you back.

Disco has potential, if you know who and what to look for, and where to find them/it.

Roleplay is what this game quite literally SHOULD be about. Did you not read the server you join when you login? It says:

The rest of that sentence, I can agree on. But not RP. You're very much misguided if you think that a server that is intentionally a Roleplay-based community is not about roleplay.

As for whatever you say about snubs and caps. Lol. Lmao. You haven't been in a fleet fight in the last..... year and a half, have you? Bombers were broken to hell and back in 5.0. So broken that a noob was able to pick them up and right click people with little care. Bombers were the meta, so too were Cruisers. Same deal as bombers, very very easy to use and punish most other classes. Now, the meta is Gunboats. Bombers don't shine nearly as much as they used to but they can most definitely take down capital ships, if used correctly.

Every combat ship has its role now. Something that needs time to learn, something that takes practice and some desire to develop one's skill. If you won't give it a chance, you cannot expect to find out what's good and what's not.

The karen gang of meta defenders is another issue in this community. My total FL flying hours will dwarf most of you. You have way less players then you used to. Factual numbers. Maybe instead of dissecting rant posts on multiple quotes ask yourself why is your playerbase dying. You might find enlightenment.

Most of the people here aren't even explicitly happy with the meta. They're defending it because (most of) your points are factually wrong.

The playerbase is in fact an issue, but instead of providing constructive input or solutions to your problems with Disco, some of which are legitimate, you have chosen to be willingly ignorant and condescending.

You created this thread, you continue to post here, and you have continued to provide almost nothing of value in it.

Uh. "FL Flying hours that dwarf most" of us in an age long past now? Yeah, I'm sure that's really relevant to today's experiences in-game.

Sorry, I just don't think you understand that things change over time. Like, say your opinion on combat was relevant some years ago. Sure, that's good feedback. But in today's environment in-game? This opinion is about as reliable as a wet paper bag.

As for this specifically.. We are already "Enlightened". It is part of Our very being of existence within this Roleplay Universe. You'd find that out too, if you played the game.

You gotta make do with the current state of the game. There is no alternative here. So my advice is find ways to make the game fun for yourself, or play other games. Nothing lasts forever, at some point this game will have to shut down. It's better to enjoy it while it's still here than never play it just because of some changes
