Beaumont has work for any Brigands interested in a big pay out.

The Corse are spitting feathers about the Sirians moving into Gallia and cutting into their... front businesses? I can't keep track of whether these resorts are legitimate or not. Either way, they're upset that Rheinlanders and Orbital Spa & Cruise are getting into the Gallic tourism biz, while Bouvet had the audacity to cut deals with foreigners in Provence without consulting the cartels.

Pretty stupid mistake, if you ask me. Good for us, though. The Corse don't want their hands dirtied dealing with this issue directly, but they do want it dealt with. And so they have come to us instead. I personally prefer a simple and direct approach, but the client has the cash, and the client has requirements. So here's how it is.

They want us to beat up the passenger liners a bit, and take hostages. The more the merrier, but they all need to be taken alive and preferably without destroying the liners. Any foreign liner is fair game, and so is Ile-de-France Shipping for their indiscretion. I shouldn't need to say this, obviously, but Corsican liners are not valid targets.

They have some hare-brained plan about faking a rescue operation. Lots of flashes and bangs, we play dead, and the hostages get extracted on Corse transports. Competitors look shabby. Corse look like heroes, and also the cruise line with the lowest loss rate to piracy. Good for business or something. Either way, we get paid big for our part in this.

If you want your cut of that prize pot, report your takings to me in this channel. Here's what you need:

1) Details about the liner you hit - scan of the name and ID. Comm logs if you feel like it.
2) Details about the number of hostages taken - shots of the number of Passenger Cabins abducted.
3) Proof they were dropped off on Beaumont Depot for safe keeping.

Doesn't matter whether they're Gallic or Rheinland passengers, report them here and we'll quadruple what Beaumont is paying. Can't stress this enough though - the tourists can't die. If you knock one off, the Corse are coming for you next.

Hi Arianne,

I've rounded up some boys from Epernay to hit the job, got a pretty decent group going. If you can deal with the incessant arguing over pay, that is.

Got the first of many hits, and damn did this one bite back. "You'll never take me alive" he says, as we ended up taking him alive - though with a ton of new holes in the ship. Bunch of businessmen from Rheinland, even the captain didn't like 'em much. By the time the captain gave in, the ship's been probably blaring alarms non-stop - the passengers we abducted were scared shitless. Didn't take much waving around with guns for their thrill-seeking adventure to become too much for them, didn't even try to fight back at that point.

I'll send more details once we get more hits. See attached for the record of delivery. Who's all gonna be in the new Corse action movie, anyway?

Hi Arianne,

Got some more for you, starring some double trouble action. Six pods, actually. Two travellers and four 'orphans'. I think the captain of the 'orphan' ship tried to tug at the wrong heart strings. I'm sure you'll give them a good home.

See attached - two separate ships hit. The orphan ship (Reject) refused to give up, so we took it out as it was buddying up with the other in shooting one of mine.

If you're wondering why we're confused in the comms, it's because a uh.. Gallic Destroyer came up the lane. Passed us quietly, and left. Kinda awkward.

I have a feeling I'll be writing these reports pretty often.

Hit another transport this evening. Bit of a character, this one. We've got our first Gallic abductees, you'll be happy to know. Businessmen looking to strike big with the Sirians, hah. As if they won't try to swindle every last Gallic credit out of them.

I think we're going to be expediting that. I did leave their second wallets on them just so we aren't shown in too bad of a light. Gotta give them the traditional pirate experience before they get 'busted out'.

The captain of the ship wasn't exactly talkative, and showing a VERY odd IFF glitch, but a hit's a hit nonetheless. Seemed like he didn't understand Gallic, so we had to have a bit of a show of force as he refused to stop or talk. That's seven Gallic visitors for you, fresh from New Paris. Hope you've got your drinks stocked, they're big spenders. See attached for details.

Bonjour. Me again.

Another day, another bit of progress for your never-ending supply of actors.

A bunch of travellers from Rheinland again, six pods of them. The liner's captain seemed amicable before suddenly turning sour out of nowhere and refusing to come to any sort of deal.

I even offered some pity money for the captain. Just said non, I want to blow up and risk everyone's lives. Sirius is a bit of a clown circus, isn't it? We did have to blow it up since the bloke just straight up refused to do anything but shoot and call us evil - no casualties though, we saved all six pods, along with the captain's.

Anyway. That's a bunch more for you. Think they can put mine and Marcel's names in the end credits of whatever movie the Corse want to make? Special thanks? It'd be funny.

This may be my crew's last delivery, the heat's getting real thick. Got a good amount for you, I think. Plenty for the rescue op, anyway. Three Rheinlander cabins from this hit.

Hit the 'orphan' ship again, and we've seen four ships pass by us during the chaos while that one tried to snake away - bastards. Who has an orphanage in a luxury liner? Full of nonsense, that is. We also met some really friendly Corsair, honestly that monsieur was a blast to talk to. Hopefully we see him again - he gave us some rum as a parting gift. Tastes pretty good. Pierre didn't want it so there was more for the rest of us.

The captain implied 'explosive' and 'arming' while delaying the drop for a proper few minutes, I've asked Marcel to tell the boys on Beaumont to watch out. This is also probably the first time we've managed to hit a liner without having to fight over it. Guess our rep's increasing, made a name. That, and the captain's first words to me were "You're a fucking terrorist". Heard OS&C wants my head personally now! That, and Marcel can avoid getting sucker-punched like last time. We've had more guns to wave aboard the L'ane today.

Anyway, that's it for me. Look forward to hearing what kinda favours you can pull for our little group, if not the money.
