Ugh look, I'm sorry. Ask Kelly, she'll tell ya I said I was nervous before I docked a minute or two after you. At least I remember sayin' something like that. I did take a cursory glance around the bar from the door, this and that but I quickly just- she pauses for a second, instead palming her forehead lightly. She couldn't sugar-coat it. Egh, I just wasn't sure. I told you about how I keep things on the down-low and you're pretty damn forward! I envy it, actually. Comments I made while chattin' were outta character for me, you're bad influences! she smiles meekly, clearly joking yet visibly restless from the guilt.

I just sort of...bottled it, I guess. It was a real pleasure to meet people at last after long days, weeks even of reconnaissance. I'd gotten in my own head and didn't really take it seriously. Hearing your words just now stung a bit, I never meant to upset you and I want to make it up to you. No idea if it'll go well, I'm borin' like I said, even just running into people outside the Freeport was enough to have me frozen for a moment. I owe you, though. It was a good laugh, and that whiskey sounded like a great idea.

Gi'me a time and place. I'm sure we're both free again at some point. Further drinks are on me. Won't bitch out this time, promise

Hey hey, been a little while!

Mausoleums...good one. I enjoyed the history lesson, I told you that! I only felt bad because I had fairly little to say, too busy sittin' there with the proverbial glasses on and soaking up the passion you oozed. It was admirable and I of course agree, having taken up an admittedly lesser mantle as another Technocrat, stuck in the recon and surveillance loop instead. Eugh, it's a drag but the comfort zone has always been so easy. Buuut, this was the motivation I needed after being stuck in a rut for many years, so thank you for that.

Anyway, ramblin' aside - sure we can get something planned. Give me a rough time and place and I'll see you there.

Kia sits forward as she plays the transmission on her console. She sighs deeply, knowing things like this would happen someday. She wasn't used to having actual friends in the field.

Hi, Mr. Freud. Appreciate the update, the silence was a little deafening.

I- I really hope they're gonna be okay. I knew things were heating up with these numerous conflicts in Liberty space. Life of a Legionnaire, I guess. Forever on a mission eh? In the peaceful, stealthy back ranks things are much more peaceful. Can't help but feel some of you need to live that sort of life at times. From what little time I've spent on the front-lines with y'all, yeah...never a dull day, huh?

Hey! I'm err...unsure who to address with this given the circumstance so you both get it.

Is everything okay? Recovery takes time an' all and yeah it's part of the job I get it, but I'm a little worried by the silence. Think you could give a girl a sign? An update? A little window in? All's quiet on the work front for me at the moment, so the intrusive thoughts are circling in my head like vultures. Not a fan of it.
