Nataly Pearsall, Starfliers To: Handler R2, Renzu Company Subject: Bustard Refit
Great to hear from you, Handler R2.
While your team has been busy working, we've also finished replacing the nozzles of the manouvering thrusters ourselves. I'm glad to hear that stage one is complete and that we can begin making our home in the Bustard soon. It has been given the name 'IRV-Starfall', which should enable you to finish up the temporary licensing process.
Regarding stage two of the refit, we'll reach out to you in due time once we've acquired all the modules needed from Kishiro and other vendors. It's been my pleasure to work with you up to this point, and we'll definitely make use of your services for future projects as well.

Long time no see, Handler R2.
It's been a while, and we've had our first flighthours with the Starfall. We're now confident to proceed with stage two of the refit, which would include the installation of hyperspace matrix as well as a jumpdrive. Additional energy buffers might be required to make both of them work without compromising other modules, but I'll leave the calculations to your team of talented mechanics. The hyperspace matrix would be provided by the Starfliers, while the jumpdrive will be more difficult to get a hold of. Perhaps we could provide you with an older, salvaged one that would probably need a few touch ups here and there?
We're pleased to hear of your satisfaction with our work so far. I'll take this as the sign to enter the Starfall into the register.
Our crews will wait for your arrival at Tsukishima Liner Yards once you've procured the items you've mentioned. In regards to power buffers; Once the objects in question are fully connected to the ship and it's systems we of Renzu will run our standard tests to determine if a safeguard is required for the functionality. We'll inform you of our teams findings and let you decide if you wish to proceed with installing a power buffer nonetheless in the case of it not been needed by the systems.
Re-using salvaged parts is an option, however we will first test those individually on performance. Afterwards they will get a company standard refurbish according to the information we were provided from Kishiro's standards. Less time is required for this step if the salvaged drive turns out to be of Kusari origin due to familiarity with the hardware.

Good morning.
Thank you for the timely reply. I'm glad to let you know that we'll reach Tsukishima in around an hour and a half, with all salvaged parts to be found in the Starfall's cargohold. Your technicians have full access to the ship to see what's salvagable of those parts, and what needs to be built to end up with a working jumpdrive. The matrix should be fully in tact, but I'd like for your team to make sure of that as well. Please let me know if there's anything else that you need, otherwise I'll be looking forward to updates on the installation process.
The refit of those 2 systems will follow our standard procedure listed in in our portal.
We will take care of any requirements for repair and replacement parts as it is part of our customer service to not make our dear clients to work for what they pay for.
We have already begun to thoroughly check the parts you've with you. Work will begin at once.
Akin to our previous interaction certificates will be generated upon reaching near completion status. Renzu's comline is open should any questions arise.
Kindly transmit the fee of 500.000 credits for this second refit request towards: RenCom|Zeitaku.

Good evening.
Funds have been transmitted, I'm eagerly waiting to see the progress happen. If possible, could you please renew the four week timed registration our vessel has within Kusari? We'll begin the application process of a permanent one once this refit is done. It's a pleasure to be working with you yet again, Handler R2. Please let me know when there's any news.
I am to notify of the current progression as stated by our policy. Regarding a refresh-al of the licence; While we are allowed to offer a temporary licence for type Bustard-Class vessels it's not possible to go beyond a 4 week duration. The initial first requested refit was to make your vessel operational, the licence is meant to work for this time. To cover the travel of a vessel to and from the shipyard to be operational and to ensure test flights are possible without violation of house laws.
Your second requested refit is beyond the requirements of this part. However you may reach out to the Kusari Licence office and mention that your vessel was refitted and temp.-licenced at our shipyard, having taken part in our service hence directly contributing to the House economy will result in more favourable treatment by the office.

Note from the engineering team: " - Internal safety protocols took longer as the provided parts had traces of prior uses indicating the chance of possible errors stored in the backlog. All conduction points had to be checked to ensure a jump to and from the vessel will be save and not result in an incident. - "
