A quem possa interessar,
My name is Pantalião Vascoguoncellos, purchasing agent with Bristol C&M. We haven’t talked before, and I suspect will talk little in the future. But there is a problem we have, and that problem is now. I’m here to talk to you about potentially resolving that problem.
Liberty Police Inc is currently making Bristol’s business in Pennsylvania very, very annoying and very difficult. They are intercepting ships bound for Cleveland Station left and right, out of Bethlehem, arrested any that they claim have a connection to the Militant organizations. Of course, being Bethlehem, that’s basically everyone and anyone LPI wants to say it is. I don’t think they have the brains to figure out connections on a station they can’t board. Frankly, it disgusts me and should disgust you, too. Corporate bastards who are meeting quotas by preying on people moving for a better life is no way to live. I’d much rather they not live at all.
I’m proposing this. In exchange for patrols and intercepts around Planet Dudley, where the majority of LPI patrols seem to move in addition to the trade lanes, I’m willing to…
1. Transmit by sensor data to a Milford communications relay for coordination and interception. 2. Divert supplies shipments from the Bristol expedition on Hallam to the edge of the Meadville field. 3. Procure fighters and freighters from the Erie civilian market, transferring them to you with a moderate cost in order to offset shipping and other costs.
They need to learn their place, these corrupt LPI. Pennsylvania for Pennsylvanians, to hell with the bloodsuckers and cowards, that’s my position. So, where does Milford stand, eh?

Not even going to try saying your name because it would just be insulting,
But color me a little surprised at the LPI's determination. They've always been the easiest bullies on the block to bribe and will more often than not stay away from anything or anyone that can hurt them. Sounds to me like somebody is setting them up to be bothering you so much, giving them the liquid green courage to be more stupid than they ought to be.
Quite a few of ours used to be on the force before they realized there was more to life than a stun baton and a badge. And that Liberty likes to keep all the little things that really matter to a person ever so slightly out of reach. It's all by design, I figure. Get people so caught up in chasing a better lifestyle that they never really stop to think who's in control.
But you probably don't want to hear me go on about being class conscious.
Sure.
We'll put the hogs back in line and your terms seem fair. Not that we'd have needed much persuasion to stick up for the little guy.
Got anything else you wanted to talk about, friend?

Exma. Sr. Barnett,
I think they smell easy blood in the water for their quotas. Sugarland and Huntsville always do need feeding…but, of course, there may be other reasons for the LPI’s interest in these issues. It may be possible that another in Liberty’s government feel the need to remove Bethlehem. It may also be possible that the increased patrols are from an interest to gather information supporting the Liberty Navy’s desire to reduce Bethlehem to ashes while still looking good for the voters. Whichever it is, I think these fools need burying.
Currently working on a solution to make your job a little easier. I’ll let you know once things are in place, as well as when first shipments for the ships begin. It may be a little slow in that regard, considering the amount of masks I need to get a ship from here to there. I’m sure you understand.
