Guten Tag Friends from Bristol Constructions,

I've been flying this Bulwark for a long time now, I reckon some feedback is due.

►Feedback:
Overall this vessel outperforms any regular vessel in the 4.300 cargo class, I am also of the opinion that it additionally exceeds 5.000 cargo class vessels due to the higher mobility. Sure while it is high maintenance, demanding attention from the crew and captain to operate it correctly, it is pleasant to handle overall. The drag can be tricky sometimes. For the armaments; I say you need to employ a gunner that is able to be efficient in using any guns mounted, the reason being that the demand from the decently sized power core is not the main problem here, it's the time needed to recharge or generate enough energy to use the defensive guns a little bit more repetitively. On that matter you have my old order in the files for the Abendrot in which I requested a specific set of weapons to be made and fit. On that end I kept the Particle Repeaters but replaced the PPACs for a Flak and 2 Basic Turrets; the reason behind that was the placement of hard-points on the vessel and the higher skill needed to hit faster small sized ships with the set "PPAC", I had more shots missed than hits which also resulted in a higher waste of energy.
To come to the end of my Feedback after more than 6 months of use: I would not trade this vessel for another, and I am curious what Bristol invents next.

►Thrusters:
I wonder if Bristol has a recommendation in terms for what thruster technology to use on the Bulwark, I made generic civilian sized ones to fit, we have some experience with older Rheinland Capital sized ones and we are currently using replacement parts that I was able to acquire in Gallia, however those are not that fitting for the Abendrot due to the tech-miss-match of Gallic and Sirian architecture and wiring. So I form the question; which Thrusters does the main branch of Bristol use if it can be shared with me.

Mit verbindlichen Grüßen.

Konstrukteur Grimwald,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I don’t think many have given such robust feedback and trust me when I can say it is appreciated here at Akutan.

It is in my opinion that I’d agree that the general weapons loadout which can commonly be seen on Bulwark Class vessels regularly outstrips the capacity of the powercore which has been mounted. While I’m not privy to the design methods of Bristol Bay Station, I can say with some amount of certainty that if Bristol was to mount as large a reactor as needed the vessel would see service in no House today. It’s a very unfortunate thing, I think, that some sacrifices had to be made to ensure that the vessel was legally allowed through Sirius.

As to the nature of the mounted thruster systems, unfortunately due to the unique nature of the Bulwark’s size, engine sizes, and reactor the vessel uses a proprietary Kriss system that remains largely in their intellectual control. I can give some references, but I’m afraid the best they would likely tell you is to come here for the propulsion system replacement.

I hope this answers your questions.

Guten Tag Frau Chellew,

You're welcome, it's a shame that you haven't gotten much Feedback from other buyers. Though I surely hope that at least Pheonix left some words since I've not seen them fly anything else aside from Bulwarks since the release of the vessel type.

I will be on my way then, a set of recommendations for Thrusters would be appreciated.
The Abendrot did run CT-GO, CT-GR and CT-PB so far with the PB being the worst option from my experience.
The difference between GR and GO types were minimal.

I've heard some talk about a newer type being seen in parts mostly called AXN or something. It could be worth looking into that for Bristol in case you at customer service are getting asked about issues such as compatibility with the Bulwark's systems.

Mit verbindlichen Grüßen

Konstrukteur Grimwald,

Unfortunately I have not been informed on the possible installations of CT-AXN secondary propulsion systems nor on any schematic details for that system; I would suspect that the AXN type is specific to a certain number of classes of vessel and that the Bulwark would be unsuitable without significant design modifications that could render the AXN practically just as good as standard or even worse than. Out of my own curiosity, where did you hear this system was being developed? That might give some hints as to how proprietary the technology is likely to be.

Personally, I have seen best results from the standard CT-GO type thrusters, though I do suspect that CT-P type systems may be able to be installed with only minor difficulties.

Guten Tag Frau Chellew,

The CT-PB were a hassle to handle and still are. It's the mismatch of fuel types between Gallia and the rest of Sirius that made it as the regular people say "A pain in the Rear".

Regarding the AXN; I spotted some parts with that label on a Depot in Liberty, though those weren't assembled. From what I understand of ship parts and the repair of such it wasn't hard to tell that those belong to a capital system, they carried that label on some parts and had slight unique shapes that I haven't seen prior. The depot I am speaking about was Rochester in Liberty's heart. I assume it's from somewhere around the Republic, how the Junkers had that I can't tell, nor if it was a complete set of parts.
I will opt to return to the CT-GO system then, if Bristol recommends it on their vessel then it should be the one to use.

Mit verbindlichen Grüßen
