How are things going? I know we didn't talk for long, the situation in my family, Crete demanded me in fully. But I am back, Deterrence requested me entirely again, and seems the time I was off, did well for my person, could enjoy some time with the familia in our villa, and even managed to refloat some personal business in the archipielago of ours.
How is the academy going? are you still working there? Would love to hear from you.

Lovely to hear from you again and happy to read that you are back again. As you can imagine from my late reply, I am busy.
Just like you have been busy with family matters and business I can very much say the same applies for me. Managing both the academy and being a mother of a 2-year old can be quite demanding at times. Fortunately I get all the help from the MFE academy staff and friends, which is a big help to say the least.
The Theta system is still as volatile as ever so you can imagine there's not a day that goes by without some kind of incident. I am happy that the academy is still widely regarded as a peaceful place and we will continue our goal of healing and teaching to those in need.
Let me know if you're planning on coming over for a visit. The academy has a lovely Kusari teahouse which is a great place for catching up.

Of course, raising a child was always something that escaped me, we could say that many corsairs do consider me their father, however I never had a son myself. I do understand the work it takes, it is hearthwarming.
I was busy with my family, my mum is getting old, and she can't govern the archipielago like the matriarch she used to be, most probably in a time I will have to manage it forever, until my successor takes care, many lives depend on our best policies for their good care and improvement. Mum is fine however, she is getting old, nothing more, she did knew some MFE doctors herself, all nice professionals of course, the archipielago lives mostly from the commerce and the drydocks of the capital.
I did hear the situation in Theta is still volatile, there are some plans, in sending some reinforcements to pacify some border problems, most probably the 8th flotilla will be dispatched there for that task. I heard know freeport 9 situation is much more stable than some months ago, seems peace there is coming finally to a point, the joint administration is doing wonders, and the Deterrence did put many efforts into the repairs of the freeport and for the well beings of the citizens of it, I hope we can one day bury the past and look for a shiny new future.
I do plan to do some travels, but many of them are political travels, not for pleasure sadly, however, I am sure I could do a small escape to the academy for a visit, I do enjoy tea myself, don't tell my hermanos in Crete, they are more of the coffee type. Situation is still delicate however, and many lives pend from a string in the conflict zones that do need stabilization.
If you wish for some vacations, when you stop being so busy. Feel free to come around the Trastamará villa, we have a private beach and several accomodations for you and your child. The sunny beaches of the ocean and the tropical climate do wonders for ones spirit.

So sorry to reply to you so late again. You must certainly be thinking I am doing this on purpose but that is not true.
I was happy to receive your message and to hear that you’re back. Your invitation to the Trastamará villa sounds wonderful. The idea of spending time with Anya in such a beautiful place fills me with excitement. Both I she and I could really use a break from the station, and I’m sure she would love the beach and the tropical climate. Additionally, I can offer your grandmother any medical advice and care she might need; it would be a pleasure to help her and get to know her.
I'm sorry if I am getting to much carried away with this. But it felt right to let you know of my feelings. This plan sounds like a real great opportunity for everyone involved. Apart from that I also hope to spend some time with you and catch up. It would be nice to take this chance to get to know each other better and enjoy some peaceful moments together.
Please let me know what you think and if I should make the necessary arrangements to take some days off and travel. I’m looking forward to Anya and me experiencing this together and also to sharing some time with you.

Porfavor, excuse me for the late reply, I was busy with the local politics of Crete, a necessary evil as I call them.
That would be quite a good company, will love the visit. Feel free to come anytime that you want I will send you the file with the docking permission and the coordinates of the villa.
I am sure Anya will love the beaches of the archipielago, hope you're used to the sun of Crete, it's quite harsh at the midday but the nights are colder and we have this gentle seabreeze. The villa is guarded by the best Deterrence loyalists and the installations have all sort of luxury needs that, I hope, you will find useful.
Please Jill, when you get free time and decide to come, tell me the date to order the service to prepare your accommodations, Anya ones and be ready to receive you with.

Now it certainly is true that we are both very busy people. Sometimes I feel like the universe around me is moving so fast and I'm the one standing still.
With matters at the academy all done for and most of the students enjoying their well earned summer break, I can finally relax and plan some getaway. I know it's short notice but would it be okay if me and Anya stay at your villa from Sunday the 17th till Sunday the 24th?

Feel free when you arrive, if I am not around, to roam the installations at your pleasure, there are restricted areas but service will notify you gladly. Remember that Crete in this time of the year is a bit warm, usually we have a lot of sea breeze so at nights chills, so choose the clothing wisely, not that I have much clothing around, but the city have many shops.

Dear Javier,
Thank you for a wonderful time at the villa. Your mother is the most amazing, heartwarming, and open woman I have ever met. From the first time we met, she insisted I call her "Mami." And while I know just a small bit of the language, I felt the warm embrace every time she mentioned it. The most fun thing was that as your mother and Anya got closer, Anya even called her "Mamá." Trust me when I say that the bond between Anya and your mother was a strong one. At times, I even felt like my daughter had another mother!
She had an amazing time, and trust me, so did I. I truly enjoyed the days we spent with your mother and with you. I see how much you love your mother, and this not only warms my heart, it fills me with joy knowing that there's more than what we see around us every day.
Oh, speaking of memories, I want to share a picture with you, as you took it with my pad:
I’m having it printed and framed, as Anya mentioned: "I want memory of sea," in her own words, of course.
But I must admit, I hold that memory dearly, for both you and I are part of it.

I have to say, I did enjoy a lot your company Jill, in our meeting at the Theta summit, you've got something that catched my eye, determination. I hope the villa and the service were kind to you and Anya, they are quite afable, and have this sweet Cretan attitude. What one can say, the dinner we took at the peñasco, with the stars of Gamma and the sea under our feet was one of the best dinners in my life, and oh dios you know a lot! so interesting to know so much about your start at the MFE. You're bienvenida at my home at any time Jill, mi casa es tu casa.
And yes, mum is always sweet except when she gets angry, wasn't expecting Anya to get along with her so easily! Probably she had some chocolate with her and bribed the kid for a smile. My mum always wanted to have a girl, so probably she's quite fond of the young Anya, I hope she didn't unveil many secrets of my childhood, would be embarrassing haha!
And yes, the sea, I was born in this city and since I was a little kid, used to run in the sand and swim in the sea, even diving surrounded by the fish and enjoying the sea flora. It gives live, I am not sure why man born from the dust in a planet, should run into the stars for a live inside the confined, cold walls of a ship. Maybe the academy could establish a center in the city, so you would have a reason to come more often, there are many places to visit here.
