The United Kingdom of Bretonia has been made aware of an alleged instance of assault and destruction of property (UKBCIL 3.1, 3.6) involving the captain of the IMG|Wavecrest which took place on July 12, 835 AS. CDI has opened an investigation on the matter and requires your cooperation and assistance. To help facilitate the investigation and subsequent legal processes we require all of the Wavecrest's communication logs from the day in question, the name of the captain and executive officer on duty at the time of the alleged incident, onboard security footage, sensor logs, and witness statements from the bridge staff.
Electronic copies are acceptable however physical drives are preferred. If you are transferring physical drives and documents have your courier bring them to:

This is a rather unexpected and unfortunate reason for us to come into contact again. I wanted to congratulate you on your promotion but that is beside the point. Yes, the guild is willing to provide the evidence requested the captain of the Wavecrest will be contacted. The Guild believes that it would be beneficial to this investigation if you could share any evidence related to the case on your end, particularly since you haven't specified the exact timeframe for the materials you're requesting.
Additionally, as you may recall from your time during the transfer project, Guild ships do not follow a standardized crew complement. Each vessel is operated at the discretion of its members. Therefore, aside from the captain, I cannot provide a confirmed crew list for the Wavecrest.
Once everything is in order, we will dispatch an armored transport to Sprague to deliver the physical drives to you in person

Ah, Mr. Schulze, it's been some time.
I hadn't expected you to contact me directly on this matter. I am glad you remember me from the Bretonian anti-defamation community outreach program. I wish we were talking again under more ideal circumstances.
I am afraid though that I cannot disclose evidence in our possession during an active investigation. I will however relay you the details as we have been made aware of them:
The above mentioned incident (L/35/023518-M) took place in the Leeds system on the 12th of July at 05:05:54 Standard Sirian time. At the time in question a BMF heavy tanker registered as the Biff Dickinson came under fire and sustained major damage that resulted in the loss of the ship's cargo and powerplant. The only ship that was present on the Biff Dickinson's sensor logs at this time was a ship marked as the IMG|Wavecrest. Scan data from the incident suggests this is a Borderworlds Transport registered to the IMG. Investigations from CDI and Interspace's insurance agents are still evaluating the exact extent of the monetary damage from the incident. The extent of the injuries sustained by the crew is also still being evaluated by the medical staff aboard Durham Outpost.
As you can see this is a very serious allegation that resulted in an significant loss of property and endangered many lives. Any assistance you can provide in getting to the bottom of what happened is greatly appreciated.

The captain of the Wavecrest has gotten back to me with their logs.
While the physical copies are headed towards Sprague in a guild transport. I’m sending you Miss Montgomery a portion of the data from their encounter beginning at 05:01:48 in Tau-31. Additional material will be presented once the physical drives arrive in Omega-3.
From what I’ve reviewed so far, it seems the Wavecrest ran into the Biff Dickinson in Tau-31 and attempted to initiate communication with its pilot. As for what happened in Leeds I should mention we have no internal logs from that system, though the Wavecrest did enter Tau-31 from Leeds shortly before the recorded encounter in the system.
