Listen, something came up. I've got to... do some work over in the Independent Worlds for a few weeks. I'm not entirely convinced by what's gonna happen or when it's gonna happen or if I should even do it to begin with, but hey, worst case scenario, I'll just come home pretty darn frustrated over how it didn't work out. And-- yeah. I'll be missing you. A lot.

I've slipped you my other keycard for the apartment, it's on the table, should you ever need a place to crash in, you can always come over, anytime.

I haven't asked about the... uh, possibility to introduce guests to the workspace, but it's unlikely. The people who hired me for the job want to keep things pretty hush-hush. There's a pretty big payout, supposedly, but I'm really just in it for the challenge. Totally beats sweating my balls off inside a biodome, y'know. Oh, and unfortunately, I'll have to be pitted with working for someone in particular I really do not like. So, that's gonna suck major nuts.
