.
Server Date & TIme:
AUGUST 17 - 24
Overview:
Greetings fellow pilots! Sirius & Gallia has a lot to offer in terms of natural phenomena, and we at the Starfliers have only seen and discovered so much across our seven years in operation. This is where you come into play. We'd like to be informed of more interesting and exclusive locations that we ourselves haven't discovered yet. Send us your most interesting capture of a natural phenomenon from any system within Sirius & Gallia. Tell us in a short story how you came to find that spectacular site. Your submissions will be used to encourage our pilots to find these locations, maybe we'll discover other stellar bodies in the process!

This is Costa Del Sol, commanding a squadron of research vessels. During a recent expedition, one of our ships encountered an anomaly deep within a dark nebula.
The vessel was pulled into what appeared to be an uncharted anomaly—later confirmed to be a jumphole leading into an uncharted system. Upon arrival, our scanners picked up faint signals emanating from within the dense cloud surrounding the anomaly.
As we approached, the research ship stumbled upon a strange distortion. Preliminary scans indicated that the anomaly could strip a ship’s hull within seconds if approached too closely. Evidence suggests that at least two other research vessels met their end here before us.
No retrievable data from those prior expeditions was found. It seems someone—or something—may have reached them first, possibly even causing their demise.
Visual logs are attached to this transmission for analysis.
I've got a story and images to share that I just got done capturing, but I'm about to head to bed.
If you're okay with a late entry, I'll be makin' a share tomorrow. I'll probably share even if I don't qualify for a prize, as it'll be good to try and inspire myself to write more.
Edit: oh jk nevermind, I didn't think to timestamp anything.
Welp let me know if there's another event like this!
